    Well, recently ive decided to give Lotro a go. I haven't had a chance to buy it yet but I'd like to know the thoughts you people carry about this game. I've been playing WoW for some time now so like most people I'm going to ask you guys to compare it to WoW. it's become a Cliche huh?

    Firstly, How long does it take to get to max level which i believe now is 60?. Is it very easy like WoW's or a bit more challenging?
    Secondly, How is the end game? Are there plenty of raids and variety of things to do to still keep you playing?

    I'm also a very PvP kinda person. I know Lotro isn't known for its PvP but PvMP looks interesting and the fact that theres a ranking system is good then you'll have something to lose in Pvmp, hence you will give it all you got not to die.

    Also are there hardcore raiding guilds just like there is in WoW? Are the cities are crowded with people, how is the crafting system, how are traits compared to talents, and Most Importantly = DID YOU HAVE MORE FUN IN WoW Or Lotro

    I know thats alot of questions, but do your best to answer :)

    WoW is more complete imo. If you want to play a game similar to WoW, just play WoW:D.

    I feel that LoTRO has a better community, but WoW is better nearly everything else ie PvP and leveling. I also don't like the fact that LoTRO will end.

    I don't thing so, I haven't ever seen an MMO the ends when the story ends... do you have any links to where it's saying this?

    I agree, look at WoW, After the Lich King there is no more to it, but they're still releasing an expansion without following the story. I assume thats what LOtro would do

    Imo, lifetime memberships can be ripoffs. It is taking a chance. You don't think they refund all players when a game is canceled do you?

    It's possible DDO going f2p was a big hit and Lord of the Rings Online is run by the same company. I doubt it too though.

    I like LOTRO. My opinion is that it doesnt have amazing graphics or customization but it's decent. I prefer how it is mostly open world with few instances. The stories in the quests can sometimes be interesting, and the main story has pieces that came right from the books/movies. It's not too hard or easy, and you can solo or small group most things which is nice. The PvP isn't good at all but the PvE is top notch and best of all is that it is currently free.

    i like the intro it was interesting but after that i lost interest fast i recommend global agenda just started like a week ago its ok.
