Today was the first day of the much anticipated Steam Summer Sale. The theme for this year is entitled the Monster Summer Game. You get a Summer Sale badge that grows by levels. The more levels the more abilities and rewards you get in the Monster Game. Not exactly sure about how to play the Monster Game, but the concept is somewhat innovative since you can use it to unlock special discounts for everybody. The main thing I am doing is just increasing my level through buying games. I bought a few copies of Counter strike: Global Offensive and my level started soaring. The first I saw it was 11 and then it jumped to 20 a few minutes later. A bought a little game tonight called Sir, You Are Being Hunted for 90% off and now my level is 47 somehow.
As far the games as a whole, they are divided in certain areas. Some sales like the one for CS:GO will last the duration, others will last a day, and some just 12 hours called Flash Sales.
