Comment: Arena Heroes is single player MOBA developed from Sneaky Games and published by Perfect World Entertainment. This game is similar to other popular mobas like dota or League of Legend. This moba is unique. Its single player game and you need to control all you champions at one. Its turn based MOBA, so need tactical strategic thinking. This game is avilable on PC, Mac and iPad.
Matches are four v four champions or heroes unlike the other mobas that are five vs five or three vs three and each hero got limited moving or action.In this game at begin you need to select four of the different heroes to take in the battle against the opposite enemy player. At this moment they are twelve playable champions. Every week there is a free to play rotation and you can test them before you purchase them. Range, mele, tank like in all other different mobas. The point in this game is like in other mobas to destroy the enemy base, to destroy the enemy Power Core. When you destroy the Power Core you are the winner of the game and you get Fame, or better to say experience point and you lvl up your acc. Maximum fame level is 60 and till you level up your account you can unlock new more powerful
glyphs. The players in Arena of Heroes are referred as Guardians. As you play you experience power as Guardian will increase and you will get more fame as a Guardian in the arenas.The battle like I sad before is turn based. A turn is when a player moves, attack with a champion or a minions. When is your turn you need to select the champion that you want to take the action and use the action. When the
turn is done minions will automatically move and attack. Then you need to wait till the enemy player take his actions with his different heroes.
Each turn a hero receive three actions. That means you can use it for moving or use the different skills. Some champions got a special ability to give a friendly hero one action more or to remove one action to an enemy hero.Skills or hero powers are for every champion different and unique. Skills like in the other mobas you can use to damage enemy champions, minions or towers, or heal your champions, remove or give actions and all heroes got
the basic attack, range or mele. Think about your moves, you cant take them back. Strategy and logical thinking is really important in this turn based game. So think twice, you got 3 min for every turn.
PRO: You are playing it alone with 4 different champs, no feeders, flamers… The graphic is good and you dont need to much time for a one game.
CON: Few champions and unbalanced. Turrets are strong damage dealer, but easy to destroy and can just shoot one time per turn. Minions are to low to.
This was a short review from Arena Heroes, not the MOBA that we all know. But its fun and its free to play. Try it, you will like it. I rate this game with 7/10, because of that few champions and unbalanced hero / tower / minions power. Hope you like this review! |
Not a bad game, is solid and I like gameplay for this game.
Not my type of a moba game. Its lacking something which I do not really know. Tho the graphics and gameplay is pretty much good 3/5
Seems kind of cool. It’s a MOBA game with a turn-based mechanic rather than real-time. Kind of makes the game feel more like a strategy game than a traditional MOBA, so gameplay is a bit different, which is nice since traditional MOBAs are everywhere. You do get to choose four heroes and go up against an opponent. Theme feels kind of sci-fi like, especially with the planets in the background of the play screen, and the overworld in the game. Overall, I’d rate this game a 4.36/5; game is a bit old since it’s from 2013, but I think it’s still playable.
