Best Story-Driven Video Games
Video games are essential for many reasons. Maybe your addiction has been in your character’s life cycle – improving and improving your skills to unlock new equipment. Maybe the video game storylines were so varied that they kept you captivated for hours. Perhaps you wanted to explore each area in the vast open world. Often gamers are attracted by a game’s story that’s able to lure people inside. Some gamers play games to tell their stories; they desire interactive storytelling; they can participate and get out. Below we’re going to look at the best video game storylines, from horror games like the Walking Dead to games with complex stories with emotional beats like every game made by Naughty Dog.
GTA 5
Rockstar Games Released GTA 5 in 2013. Rockstar’s best subversive stories have come across in GTA. I find the game’s narrative mature and the main characters incredibly likeable. The headliner ratings are incredible at times. The main story is a little hard sometimes to pin down, and that is a compliment. The game offers immersive gameplay that allows three distinct life stages in a single campaign.
NieR: Automata
Automata tell an intriguing tale, with complex puzzles in its gameplay, all with smooth controls; a good game indeed. When the credits start rolling in the 2 B adventures, the credits start rolling. Video game deaths and respawns are no longer simply a game ending and have changed their structures since the dawn of the game. Feed this with all the themes of Automata, the fourth wall break and the story Nier: Automata becomes one of the greatest telltale games of all time.
Horizon Zero Dawn
Horizon Zero Dawn is an excellent tale. First, it’s been created by the team behind Guerrilla Games, known for the Kill Zone series, which has never deserved such praise for a video game story. It is even great because Aloy features a young woman as the protagonist with solid themes in feminine and patriarchal societies. Secondly, it provides a vision of a world that’s not bad. It seems a minimal task, right? The film reveals a good story about a sci-fi robot dinosaur, tribal humanity and an outrageous villain.
Walking Dead
Telltale Game has dramatically focused on the storytelling for the Walking Dead due to its simple zombie apocalypse gameplay. A lot has been given to telling stories in depth during the Walking Dead series. Thankfully the narrative itself can carry the title on its back because of the character strength of its narrative and art style. Though players start to control the story of Lee, later instalments show him stepping into the shoes of a girl named Clementine. Watching her grow and mature is a joy, and the harsh and unbearable setting for the game provides plenty of tension.
A Thief’s End
Drake arrives at a deserted village in Uncharted 4. Its games had always been good, but through the Uncharted series, the developers helped to create the movement enabling the popularity of storytelling games. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is a cinematic masterpiece and a perfect ending for one of gaming’s most famous heroes. The four fantastic outings of Nathan Drake are all rich stories, the last focusing solely on his personal growth and also revealing some deeper insight about his past. Please watch this.
The Wolf Among Us
Sometimes establishing stories can restrict an author’s ability. Fans often regard source materials as sacred and cannot manipulate them. Usually, a bold developer takes an ancient story and presents it as a painting for gamers’ enjoyment. Telltale Games’ spins on Little Red Riding Hood are unique and unique. It is a short game with much DLC after becoming famous and a story that keeps people at attention. It’s a game you must enjoy while travelling. Check this out.
The Last of Us Part 2
Like the Godfather films, the film concludes with a more comprehensive and coherent story. The Last of Us Part 2 is probably less accessible than the beloved PS3 Original, and it is still a stunning story. Brave and completely unsentimental, it’s an essential experience despite the emotional scarring. The Last of Us Part 2 has ruled over the feelings of genuine sadness for many.
