ranked demotion

Uhm, I think not. If you really don't want to test your luck, just don't play ranked and you'll be safe from demotion. When preseason starts, you can't get demoted, anyway.

 

You can get demoted if you lose way to many games, because your MMR is dropping. U cant get demoted only due to inactivity

 

Well, I don't think you should stop playing ranked it's better to practice in ranked since normals are just for fun and almost noone plays seriously

 

You can get demoted but i recommend you to play,rank means nothing if u cant play in that ELO,so,better play,get better,and reach Platinum till 7 November

just to add some info to this discussion, your MMR has to be at silver V rating, and only then you can fall to silver 1, it is really hard to demote from league once you reach it.

 

You think bronze 1?

 

If you are Gold V, and have silver V mmr, only then you can drop out from Gold V to silver, riot made that change few months ago so people don't stop playing as soon as they reach their dream rank

 

You can if you lose 5 of 10 games i thinkk you'll get demoted

 

No you can't if your mmr is not 5 divisions lower than your actual rank

 

But your mmr drops as you lose games

 

yeah but ognjen said you can drop if you lose 5 games, which is impossible and still very unlikely after 10, unless you already have terrible MMR

 

good luck, but don't expect too much so you don't get dissapointed since most of the pepople drop in ranks, especially gold+
