    For me, it would be a countless amount of times, especially on Hard difficulty, at the beginning of the game when I have less supplies, in fights like the Ender Dragon battle and Wither battle, because of a Creeper dropping on me, or because of natural causes like falling into lava.

    I mostly die by mobs underground if they spawn and it's always when I least expect it. I don't usually die at night outside, usually I'm pretty good at getting back home quick or if I'm too far away I'll just make my own shelter.
