Do you Want an Account Reset?

Why on Lore would you want to reset accounts? They confirmed that it's not going to happen, but still. o.o tf

 

HAHHAHA my main man reynz thinking ahead!!! that would be awesome but i dont think aq3d wil implement that lol too many ppl may take advantage of it

 

a rollback and making gold valuable again hasn't been planned, i want daily dungeons with limited keys to be the highest gold farm instead of repeatable methods in the slabs. this method has been left for a month and a half so gold has lost much of its value, especially with the week with smeevil (that shows how fast gold-farming with smeevil was), people could get a million gold a day

Honestly, just gold reset, I don't believe we need a whole character reset. But gold could be reset because some got advantages.

My answer is a NO. Its because if the AE resets everyone account for a new fresh start how about those who has been putting effort to farm the gold till millions. Fly2Sky and PSN have more than 15 million of gold and I guess everyone knows them. If the account is resetted I bet they will surely quit the game or something. Not only them but maybe "some" of us.

 

That may be the case but how fair is it for people that are just starting in October and AE re released armor cost millions and they can't buy since they just got into the game.

I'd like to see a rollback feature, especially since we've had so many mistakes from AE, especially pertaining to gold. A rollback feature would ensure that huge mistakes won't happen again.

But I do think one last mandatory reset is necessary for Live since we'll have newer players playing; for older players, the game may feel bland and stale because there would be little to do. And most people have already forgotten the storyline, become confused, etc. because of so many changes and revamps. There's also unbalance to gold, and that is a huge issue; players like ifh farmed over 10 million gold because of a broken Smeavil quest and crazy Bone Chip sellback at the Intro. Also, many people have skipped cutscenes in the game and/or have sold/deleted "obtainedonce" items that they probably want to be able to replay. Sure, a reset button could solve most of those issues rather than a mandatory account reset, but to keep the game well-balanced, fresh, and active, I think we should have one. This doesn't mean you'll lose your items either from your inventory or craft menu, just your level/XP, gold, and quest progress. Also, many games with testing phases do resets; it's not anything new.

 

I believe there shouldn't be an account reset. For the most part, I know that Artix wouldn't want to erase players data they have been using since back when. Having that known, players shouldn't let their hard work go to waste. Furthermore, I do know that Artix most likely not agree to a Account reset after all the pre beta items that ha been released and Kickstarter items.
