    If you were a developer and Artix asked you to set a gold cap for AQ3D, what gold cap in your opinion would best suit AQ3D in its current phase and after the game is released? Or would you opt for no gold cap at all?

    I would go for the current known gold cap which is 2,147,483,647 seems fair to me

  3. If it were me, I'd set the gold cap to 1 million gold until the game is fully balanced and has a gold sink, then I'd make the gold cap whatever the theoretical limit is (2^31 gold).

    a cap that's not too extremely high until we have a good determinate high value of gold from daily quests

    I would go for theoretical limit as gold cap even though if someone tried reaching that at the moment it would be really REALLY time consuming with current gold farming methods (best method yielding about 30k per hour and little bit more at maximum) and if someone tried to do so right now it would take just inhumane amount of time.

  9. The biggest problem is that AE rushes their release too often which often breaks the balance of the game. When they released Smeagol's quests, players were making millions of gold in just a few days, some even took advantage of the quests to reach 10 million gold.

    Yep that was quite a slip by AE right there but issue got solved eventually and i didn't even do those quests for gold, just for materials to get those crystal weapons and to be frank i did considered trying it just to test it out but there was so many people already on it and because of that i decided against it.

  11. I didn't like how it took them about a week to patch the gold farming exploit, especially when it was already known to be exploitable even before release according to Fan.

    I don't think a gold cap is needed at all. Farming gold is the only option (besides waiting for update) for players to do after farming every item and reaching the end game.

  16. But what about players such as PSN, Amethystlock, and ifh who have over 10 million gold? Sure, gold farming is fun, but what are people going to spend all that gold on?

    It's true that having a high amount of gold right now is useless but in the future it will be needed. One example is, Sly's weapon. Sly said anyone will be able to buy the public version of his weapon for 10 million gold. Based on this, I would expect a lot of the other backer weapon owners to do something similar or even harder.
