    This week in AdventureQuest 3D we are going to open a PTR (Public Test Realm.) All players will be invited to help test maps, colors, & more. ~ Artix Krieger

    What's the difference between BETA AND PTR?

    PTR - The PTR will be testing the (pre-patch.) Example: New pet , stat , auction ,pvp , guild systems and new maps, you will be able to test them before they get released. (idk what AE will release though)

    BETA - The initial phase in a new relationship when you are testing it for bugs or glitches on the current content.

    Well whenever PTR arrives, I'll probably stay on the PTR server rather than Red Dragon or Blue Dragon server since the server is usually boring. I think PTR will be fun, if the AQ3D team is going to have many updates; it'll be like truly seeing the game being developed in front of our eyes. Maybe they'll replace the Blue Dragon server with the PTR server, but who knows?

    Well i guess this is going to be good opportunity for us to test new things before they get released, it is like playing in developer server but slightly different.
    Can't wait to get to PTR and see what there is going to be for us to test.

    one main thing people do in ptr is try the barber shop <3 i just made the eyes the darkest blue, the lips the darkest red, and added the first braids lol <3

    yeah the barber shop is kinda cool

    I think I reported maybe 7 bugs in total, one of the biggest being a lighting issue in Minepass. Also you can't craft the Platinum Keystaff for some reason, it just has a lock symbol next to it. I found it strange cause all the other keystaffs are craftable and have the same requirement.

    Well, the PTR is on but it's not a simple server.

    1- Everything that happens in PTR stays in PTR (no connection with the normal realm)
    2- The only way to get acess is using the steam
    3- It uses a temporary copy of your character
    4- Frequent Server restarts and fixes
    5- Resets happen often, so you can get disconnected frequently
    6- New features comes there first then go to the normal realm
    7- The focus is the testing and bug finding
    8- It's bigger than the normal server to explore
