Serving 20 years in the military. However after my 5 year toil with my horrible unit I decided to leave.

Tre Flipping the 5 set at my school. Life got really busy and haven't skated in a long time.

  4. Skating sounds difficult to do because you have to balance yourself and move around. I probably wouldn't be able to do that.

That is a pretty impressive goal. You didn't reach your goal, but 5 years still is a lot of time to serve in the military. Congratulations on managing to endure that long despite the circumstances.

  7. With New Year's approaching, I'll think of a reasonable resolution to accomplish in 2018. 2017 is almost over, and it's almost time to think of new goals.

That's a long time of devotion for the military. I wouldn't last 5 years in the military, or even 20.

I would imagine all that time in the military brought a lot of physical fitness. It seems beneficial to serve in the military, but it wouldn't be my cup of tea.

Finishing a game on RPG Maker

  9. Interesting, like finishing making a game on RPG Maker or finishing playing a game on RPG Maker? I know it can be difficult to do both, especially with other things to focus on. I know playing a few RPG Maker games could be very lengthy, but I also know that making a game on RPG Maker can be very time consuming, especially when working alone.

Making a game... would be cool to show it to my friends. I took inspiration from various games like the original Final Fantasy and even Dragon Fable.

Making games sure is time consuming, if you ask me, but the end result is going to be great when it's done with care. Do you mind making a thread about it or is it too early for that?

In fact, I do not plan on doing it anymore, I lost all my progress on my old computer a few years ago. In the end it would just be a vanilla game, since I was not able to make animations or complex codes so I just used the features of the RPG Maker and illustrations and songs from other sources.

  13. Sounds unfortunate to lose all of the progress. If it were me, I'd probably start all over from scratch and save my work in progress on a flash drive. It's never a good thing to have progress made and then lose it all. The important thing is always backup and also save often.

I've always wanted to play padded football on an actual team but I still have not gotten that opportunity.

Last year, I wanted to do an artwork of my Twitter mutual's character as a surprise for them, but I never got it completed due to self-doubt, overthinking, inefficient time management, and not enough determination. That very goal was the reason why I got myself a graphics tablet in the first place, to be honest.

Wanted to continue playing for Arsenal Jr Gunners but I choose another path an it was the wrong path but we all take the paths we take in life should never regret your choices but I kinda do cause I love football as a kid still do but it just isn’t the same as when you was a kid kicking a ball about with ya mates on a field for an amazing team.

  17. I don't think there's ever a right or wrong path, because you never know the end result. Sometimes you choose what you want in life, but it ends up worse. And sometimes the things that you don't want end up benefiting you.

And it's never too late to create the experience you desire. It might be different (new friends, new place, etc.), but it's worth accomplishing, if it's a true desire.
