AQ3D Class Discussion

Patch 1.6.4 made Guardian's ability Dragon's Breath able to taunt a target to attack you for duration of the effect which is pretty good considering only way to make a monster target you before now is to attack it and generate threat and more you have it more likely is the monster going to target you so more damage means more threat.

 

Aftrer the class rework update i prefer guardian and rogue now

 

I am playing with Warrior and Guardian mostly after the class rework. I do also use Mage and Rogue too, but not as much compared to Warrior and Guardian.

 

I use mage for grinding the zards for the Zard Helm. Just because I don't want to constantly move around.

 

I personally used Rogue and Guardian before class revamp. Right now i am not sure what i would pick, but i will be using my dungeons keys first before i continue grinding for A Frogzard Ate My Head helm. I might use Warrior or Guardian when i start farming Mammazard.

 

I think that each class has its primary function based on the content you are dealing with and any party you might have ...
I think more traditional MMORPG roles might be nice though: tank/healer/dps ... if it isn't broken right?

 

Mage are the best..

 

AQ3D roles are mostly DPS oriented and we only have one tank class (Guardian) which is a healer too, more like an off-healer though.

 

Necromancer sounds to be an amazing class with a completely different play style then what we are used to on aq3d, can't wait!

 

Maybe as archer/ranger class?

Do kickstarters get a armor or those too, like the founder rogue, mage and warrior?

 

Mage is good for bosses and warrior for farming

Imagine if the game was not in cross platform DRAGONSLAYER CLASS would get a better animation(special effects) n every skills.

 

I always love using guardian class.

 

I think what I like a lot about this game better than AQW right now is that I don't really favor one class over another, they all come in handy (even dragonslayer). Sometimes i'll use mage to attack from a distance, rogue for bosses, warrior for farming, guardian to get rooms done quicker and dragonslayer does more damage vs dragon types. On AQW there's probably over 100 classes and I'm always using the same 2-3 classes for years. A lot of them have the same benefit

 

i love using guardian class

 

I'll go with the warrior, cause warrior class is really great when it's dungeon run
