We got dragon travel forms so why not pets then right?

 

Is the zard pet is possible in game because i have frogzard ate my head

 

Most of the pets are just existing models of monsters or forms in the game. From today's release, I'd probably say the Pink Trobble pet is the best for two reasons: 1) it's pink and 2) Trobbles are new compared to most of the other models

 

Those trouble pets did indeed came out better than i expected! I am aiming for that dricken pet because that's what i have been wanting for a while now.

 

I hope they make a pet that can carry items

 

I find the craft requirements for Frogzard Pet to be odd, requiring only 5 Pet Feeds where every other pet in that shop costs 50-300 Pet Feeds. That's a huge gap for an Epic Rarity item, and I feel like it may have been a major oversight (like AE forgetting to add a zero after the five). There is no way a pet's supposed to be that easy to get, and maybe they won't notice the low number anytime soon. I'll make sure to get the Frogzard Pet as soon as I get access to the third daily quest (which is probably going to reward more Pet Feeds than the other two daily quests).

 

It feels like a freebie pet, but it could also be an oversight too. I do wonder how much Pet Feed quantity ramps up with those unlockable daily quests? Maybe the second one gives 10 Pet Feed and the third gives 20 Pet Feed or something like that.

 

Just seems odd for a freebie pet to have Epic Rarity of all of the rarity tags possible. It's so common in-game (even new players are equipping it) that it ought to just have a Common tag at least.

 

We know that AE doesn't really know how to properly use rarity tags and this seems to not be any different.

 

However, AE is famous for number, spelling, and grammar mistakes. Just look at what Artix types (no offense Artix). It was most likely a mistake.

 

I want henchmen. I know that’s not a pet but it could fill the same slot/category.

It would be cool if they added a button near the skills you could use to activate your pets special ability. Like stun, health leech, heal, aoe, blind, etc. To keep it balanced there could be a 30 second timer between uses.

I think that would make combat against rarely fought bosses less tiresome and save on potions a bit.

 

I want they give a free moglin pets

 

It's possible. The Kickstarter Moglins are technically plush pets, not really actual Moglin pets. If you look at them, you'll see that they look different than actual Moglins (e.g. compare your Zorbak Plush Pet to the Zorbak NPC in Battleon). Besides, we might see Moglin variants such as the Vampragons eventually.

 

I can see that happening. Moglin Kickstarter pets are indeed plushies and not real moglins. Maybe we could get real moglin pets with a new patch of pets when they come out?

 

Starting to doubt it was meant to be a freebie pet. If you watched yesterday stream where Artix was talking about the new Trobble (Ducky) pet, you'll probably recall that Artix said he wanted that pet to be given out rarely because of drawcalls. If that's the case, then would you think he'd want Frogzards to be harder to obtain as well?

 

Well, we are talking about a stream promo pet, not a regular pet. You could try to hit him up and ask him about it if this seems like an issue to you, but I can't see most of the player base complaining.

 

Drawcalls is what creates some rendering and lag issues in the game. From the past, AE has always been talking about wanting to limit that. Frogzard Pet isn't really something to complain about, but it is something to acknowledge as a possible oversight from AE if they claim that drawcalls is why they want pets to be rare, because any pet contributes to the number of drawcalls in the game.

 

Mobile ports are going to suffer form this for sure, but PC should be fine.

 

Can ask if how to get free moglin pets??? I'm not a Kickstarter... Thank you.

Yeah... I like that idea ... Hope that idea will be developed in the near future of the game...
