Why do you keep farming gold? What is your goal?

Probably DC-only from now on considering the farmable version didn't return last time, unless they just forgot. Would probably be nice if they added tags like "seasonal", "rotational", "rare", and "permanent" for items, so players know whether to get the item or not instead of having to guess what the item's rarity status is or rely on the Wiki for those rarities.

 

I would like to think that they just forgot about it and hope that they bring it back. Wiki isn't always accurate either when it comes to rarities in my experience so getting an official confirmation about such a thing would be nice which has happened many times but not always.

 

I think they will add it again once ppl suggested it to artix

It would be great if we could get the rest of alpha/pre-beta items back in an obtainable form.

And that's a major problem. People who help edit things for the Wiki don't get all of the information necessary (and it tends to be difficult to reach out to developers for information sometimes), and that just leaves everyone having to guess, and also players upset when they find out that an item (in its farm-obtainable form) that's supposed to be seasonal becomes rare. The Crown of Twigs (farmable version) was even brought up in tons of discussions and none of the developers have seem to acknowledge it [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9]


I remember there being a similar incident in 2017 with Boreal Robe and Coal being missing from Gaz's shop and I said something about it in a tweet which got other players to escalate the issue to the developers eventually, and later those items got added.

 

I do remember that situation that happened with Boreal Robe and Coal too. It did get fixed eventually so why not just fix farmable version of The Crown of Twigs? Kinda strange that they are ignoring this issue.

Could start reminding the developers again when April Fool's Day comes around for the event in 2019. I feel like there's a lot of things that the developers don't catch since they're just developers, not actual players that examine the game to its fullest extent. I'm surprised not a single tester forwarded the "farmable Crown of Twigs missing" issue to the developers, and if they did, I'm surprised the developers didn't take any action into re-adding it, or even stating (whether on the Design Notes or on Twitter) that they don't plan to add the farmable version anymore if that was the case.

 

Developers don't know everything about their own creation because they are just developing it and not being complete experts of it. I really want quest equipment to be reobtainable and Leather Boots (starting ones) be buyable from Yulgar's Inn like they were before.

 

When ebon talon was announced that was a big reason for why people wanted to farm gold. Im at 1.4m I believe but I dont really farm it anymore.
