Why do you keep farming gold? What is your goal?

You underestimate people who actually want to get something that costs 10m whenever such a thing gets added to the game. There are players with that kind of gold and they won't hesitate to spend it.

 

I don't think anything like that will ever be added. Unless they do something like coin collector in aqw.

 

People had been farming for tons of gold in anticipation that AE would release Royal Talon and Silvered Talon at their old price, or even at a higher price; yet, AE decided to put those items in Treasure Chests instead, taking away the value of those items in the first place. There ought to be more expensive items in the game, especially considering farming gold is easier than ever before. I still have 7.5 million gold and all of that gold was accumulated through normal gameplay (hunting for rares and stuff) rather than intentionally gold farming.

 

What if AE added expensive stuff or title or something cool for 10m ? Hahah

 

Then I might consider grinding gold. But now I'm too lazy.

 

AE should do something like that to have something to spend that gold on for players that have soo much of it.

 

My goal its to earn more gold like millions to prepare for up coming game updates.

 

Agreed. For example special weapon had unique effects that cost 10-20m ... It needs to be a very coooooollll weapon !!!

 

If you don't have a goal or item to buy . Yes you its so lazy to farm golds ! .I think for now you won't need the golds cuz They don't add a high value item in aq3d ! . But If they do and that weapon is cool I think you may now have the reason to farm golds ! ..

They should just do a gold reset, if anything, and start balancing gold again. Gold is becoming too easy to farm (especially with the dungeon key limit being removed, drops getting multi-stack, and other things). Even gold boosts are irrelevant considering how easy gold farming is, and the brokenness of gold farming is probably why AE still hasn't released items above 1 million gold.

 

This is just going to hurt those who are not into gold farming more than those who are avid gold farmers. Gold farming can just get easier from here and I am not going to deny that. I can see things get ugly when trading gets implemented and players just keep selling items for high prices even those items which are easy to get.

 

Nah that's impossible this player work so hard to get those golds ! Spent to much time for just farming everyday ..

It could happen but ultimately I don't see AE doing a gold reset.

 

I spent several hours each day back in Pre-Beta farming for gold (around 9.75 million gold total) when it was actually harder to farm and AE did a gold wipe anyway. To say "players worked so hard to get those golds" in today's gold farming standard is an understatement. A gold wipe is necessary if we want auction house and other balanced content.
