One of the reasons AQW got destroyed was due to botters and cheaters. What punishment do you think is befitting for those that try to do the same to AQ3D? Should they be given a second chance like they were in AQW and yet nothing really changed? Should they without question receive a permanent ban? Should even their accounts get deleted?

It really depends, depending on the playing I think a second chance would be good. But otherwise It probably would be best to just remove the player from the game if they are going to bring themselves down that low.

It has been stated that there is a zero tolerance for botters and cheaters already and I don't see this being changed.

That's good. So far I haven't seen like any botters. I see a cheater every now and then. The only "botters" I see are the random hackers that go to Yulgar's with tons of alts mimicking their every move to cause lag.

They stated the same before for AQW, it's a shame that it wasn't vehemently backed up!

  6. It's part of why they ought to delay features like PvP, but aside from that, they need to first focus on account security the most (since a couple of players have already got their accounts hacked from session stealing) and then focus on anti-cheating measures. People who cheat (third-party programs most notably, not bugs/glitches found in-game) ought to be perma-banned, though AE's been too lenient over the months among people who have cheated.

AE has not been as active as I would have wanted in that department to be frank. The security is very important in a game where people are going to be spending a lot of time in just like many of us have and getting your account stolen from you feels like a stab in the back.

More like a stab in the heart, I'd be shattered if that ever happened to my account.

I absolutely concur that they should primarily focus on security and anti-cheating measures.

Yeah they have quite a bit of issues when it comes to that sort of thing.

Did any of your friends ever get hacked in other Artix Entertainment games like AQ, AQW etc.

  11. Probably the biggest flaw is that you don't get a confirmation e-mail when you want to change your e-mail. When you go to account management and change your e-mail, it just changes immediately instead of asking you to confirm on the current e-mail that you have verified whether you want to actually change it or just disregard it (in case it was an unauthorized e-mail change). It just gives hackers a chance to change your e-mail and pretty much gain access to your account which is bad. Already last month, a player got hacked and someone changed his e-mail to an e-mail that uses his personal name but isn't really his e-mail, and he had to go through so much effort just to recover his account all because of AE's security flaw. And if some of the people (such as Root and Alphi) are correct about the game having a session stealing exploit, then that'll be a bigger issue that exacerbates the problems with the game's security. I want to say it's a flaw in both AQWorlds and AQ3D since one of the AQWorlds tester (Soki) got their account hacked.

Actually my old AQW account got hacked and disabled. I was really bummed about it but later I made a new one and my new one is far better than my old one. My brother also has had his account disabled permanently but that was for "almost cheating" I guess. They should really unban him because he technically never cheated but he almost did. He has tried to get unbanned but they won't do it.
They do know about that right? That can't be too hard to change and that's a very important issue.
