When/what Phase Did You Start Playing AQ3D?

How are you liking it so far? Have you played other AE games before AQ3D? Was it confusing at first or easy to understand?

I started playing in Alpha which is nice because I now enjoy my alpha rares

I started playing when it's still in closed beta phase, sad i didn't get the early access key

 

I don't think an early access key would have made any difference other than add a badge you probably don't have, the Pre-Beta badge, which I don't think really means much. The end of Pre-Beta reset everyone's progress except for inventory, so it's not like you would have really missed anything. Some items are still unavailable to post-Pre-Beta players, but it's not like every player who attended Pre-Beta knew what item was going to stay and what item was going to go missing, and the missing items will eventually be added back to the game (even though it's been a little more than 3 years since Pre-Beta).

 

Did they confirm that the missing items will be added back to the game?

They've said numerous times that Pre-Beta items will return, but there are still some that haven't returned. Only time can tell, or they might end up forgetting some due to how obscure some items may be.

 

I am keeping my fingers crossed for more Pre-Beta to make a return. We can keep reminding AE about them so they won't forget about them.

 

Probably wouldn't change much since they prioritize newer content over older content. Even one-time items like Leather Boots, Chewed Mystic Robes, Gifted Armor, Gifted Blade, etc. aren't even revisited; they're just stuck as items you'll be able to obtained once.

 

I can see Gifted Armor and Blade are obtained once but Leather Boots and Chewed Mystic Robes shouldn't be only obtained once. Leather Boots are part of the starter gear and should be reobtainable and Chewed Mystic Robes should drop outside of that quest that makes you go to Mystic's Cave and it doesn't make sense for them to only drop during it.

 

I don't think Gifted Armor and Blade are even obtainable anymore since the Battleon Revamp. The "Talk to Artix" quest isn't available anymore, so any new player joining in can't even get it. I think Gifted Armor and Blade should be added to a shop, like Yulgar's Shop or something.

 

I suppose it wouldn't hurt because that quest isn't available anymore.
