Solo if you're looking to get a boring day to go by, with some music, solo'ing is always alright.

I always play solo cuz its my time to explore more in minecraft and to learn own tecniques and traps on how to survive in multiplayer with raskal freinds and multiplayer is cool too if you are only with your friends!

  3. I think it varies a lot; both solo and multiplayer can be fun or not fun, but it depends on different variables. But more specifically on multiplayer, I think multiplayer can be fun, but you'd have to find the right server and also the right people.

For instance, a lot of multiplayer servers have huge restrictions because griefing is such a major issue. Things like TNT are disabled, and sometimes you can't destroy blocks. But not every server like that is bad; you could still have servers with good mini-games but restrictions on building/destroying... but if you're looking for a survival map to play with other players, it's hard to find a server like that unless you create your own.

And even when you do find a survival multiplayer server, you'd have to trust that players don't destroy the map. It's much harder to play with people you don't know, because you don't know them, and they could do anything.

Personally, I think (survival) multiplayer servers are better with real-life friends, and I think they can make the experience a lot fun. It gets boring sometimes, when you play hundreds on single player survival maps, because you're already used to many things, but on multiplayer, you could do PvP, build cooperatively, and do much more. I used to play Minecraft in the school library and one person would set up a LAN server while everyone else connects to the server, and the experience was generally very good. We would play things like Survival Games, build structures, or do other things, and it was definitely a lot better than playing by myself.
