    Yes, many battles are very close and some are complete blow-outs. Guild Wars vs. Aika is the closest battle so far this year:).

    Gameogre does do the Shooter Showdown, which focuses on shooters only. To do a showdown for all types of MMOs would mean a ton of submissions will have to be filtered through. MMORPG covers most MMOs, shooters covers many multiplayer games. The only MMOs that aren't covered by either title are... well... I can't actually think of one. Minecraft might be counted as MMO but not MMORPG, but I would personally count Minecraft as a RPG in the sense that you slowly build yourself up from nothing, and that you craft your own story through the world.
