    Quinn uses a linux system, at least on his netbook. Dunno if he ever actually uses another computer. I've been considering switching on my computer, but as time goes I become less likely to actually do it. Maybe next machine.

    To make a long story short, I recently accepted a friend that I knew years ago on Facebook. The only problem is that the friend posts on my wall saying that he wrote a book that I am in and that I will be a big movie star lol.

    Has anybody else came across weird "friends" like this?

    Yes. In fact, this game has a great deal of episodic content that I enjoy playing through for the sheer nostalgia and just following the narrative.

    The events are a great deal of fun also and enforce a little bit of teamwork.

    There's also an amazing amount of special effects, special weapons, and other interesting things to encounter.

    The sheer amount of narrative-space to explore in the Star Trek universe is something that I think will allow them to keep writing episodes.

    Although, hope that they work towards making more events. Especially events that create monthly storylines for players to work their way through. Even if they're recurring yearly (such as holiday-based.) Also, I wish things like Borg invasion, Species 8472, the Crystalline Entity, and other well-known Star Trek enemies would have events more often.

    Well if quinn or Aaddron or any other Ubuntu users see this thread I have a question about tar.gz files. It's a very n00b question so anyone that has been using it a while probably knows the answer.

    It's my old laptop. Running Vista. And I kept having this problem with it freezing and shit so I was going to re-install Windows. Then I figured why not keep things interesting and boot Linux instead? And it actually has some advantages to Windows.

    I used to think that Apple was the dark side. Then I realized they were business geniuses so I don't hate them nearly as much as I used to.

    Well if you play a lot of games on your computer I wouldn't recommend doing it "next machine". Although it's rumored that Steam may come to Linux soon. Anyway I've found the great thing to be the performance. Ubuntu 11.04 runs a lot faster than Vista ever did. The startup time along seems like it's almost 40% faster.
