    When you are building stuff in Minecraft, do you just build and see what you end up with or do you search a picture on the internet and try to copy that to the best of your abilities?

    For building structures, yes I have. I've built medieval houses with some jettying architecture in Minecraft and castles using references from a picture.

    I made a cobblestone generator and i used a picture of it as a reference because i wanted to make one that actually worked properly. I have made a cobblestone generator before and it worked but when i was going to make another one i didn't remember how i made it so i had to use a picture of a cobblestone generator as a reference.
