    Hello there!

    I'm an avid gamer and fan of most things sci-fi/fantasy related - especially books and games and movies.

    Currently uninspired by any MMOs and may try to get into the MUD/MUSH world. Love role playing and haven't had fun with it since the UO days. :) :)

    Hi and welcome since you mentioned fantasy. What books do you think are good.
    Also have you read The Keys to the Kingdom?, if not you should :).
    Anyways I use to Role Play but I'm not the kind to do Adventure ones kinda like DnD more of an average school life then you go to another world >.<

    Problem is that I didn't find enough people doing it >.<
    Anyways hope you enjoy your stay here

    im also kinda new here but welcome :3

    i enjoy playing MMOs too but havent found my WoW replacement.
    i really like warframe though its a scifi mmo/fps and im gonna start playing ace combat assault horizon later :3

    I also haven't been able to find my WoW replacement!

    Technically, WoW was supposed to be my replacement for Ultima Online, which was an awesome game that I played around 2000 until WoW came out.

    The freedom in UO was amazing! I also played DaoC and a bit of other MMOs here and there like Aion and the first Guild Wars.

    :book: My favorite fantasy books these days are some of the obvious -- "A Song of Ice and Fire" is great, currently starting Rothfuss' "King Killer Chronicles."

    I'm a full time teacher and mama so when I get home from work and the two year old is finally asleep I like to play MMOs with my sweet hubby, but lately we haven't found anything since WoW's panda debacle to hold our interest.

    Looking into Rift, and the game Tera was suggested to me too. We'll see! These days when I play I'm unable to dedicate hours to raiding like PB time (Pre Baby haha) so I am looking for something casual but social and still fun. Also enjoy PvP every now and then and a touch of role play! :)

    Rothfuss is great. I like the characters better than most novels that I have read. My only complaint is having to wait on each new book in the series:).

    No! Working on this. :) I went to a website that had me list preferences -- didn't know that so many MUDs are not based in the USA.

    Sooo trying to find a perfect one, or else go back to WoW until something amazing comes my way. :rolleyes: :eek:
