From the perspective of a WoT player, all I have to say is 2 years of playing WoT has actually pretty much ruined any faith I had in humanity, mostly due to the in game chat.
And yeah some will say, many players are just kids that don't know better... But that is the core problem here. Who here thinks it's a normal for a 5 year old to say "I'm going to F***** your mother up her p**** " ? I most certainly do not, and I'm pretty sure he didn't learn that from his other 5 year old friends (at least not the first one that started) or his parents, he heard it from some 25 year old that rages in chat of a game... Yeah people should start being jailed for things like this, just a few, to set an example, it should be enough to stop this trend of internet being an anarchy where people use their freedom of speech to say the worst shit they can think of, without caring slightest for who will hear it and how it will affect them.

 

Well finally WG decided to give out real cash as prizes, something that ESL is doing since forever. I'll definitely set a team up for this tournament

I think we can have a random teams , like 4 teams with players picked randomly , then make a little LCS , playing against all and the team with more wins gets the prize.

I don't think that you can duel 1v1. If you want to fight 1v1, you will have to go to PvP and then go, together with the one you will fight against, to somewhere no one will come, so you can fight 1v1 undisturbed.

Yeah, Ogre Wars is decided almost instantly when it start. The nation that have most active members, and experienced members gets to the top. Then it will be hard for the other nations to catch up since the leading nation is gaining more gold than the others.

Btw, if we somehow did so that villages with lower amount of troops gets more gold than the villages with more amount of troops, wouldn't that makes Ogre Wars more challenging? It would make the lower nations catch up, and thus stop the dominance. There are still many problems with that though. Someone could just stay low all the time to collect a lot of gold, and then get troops when they have enough offense and defense.

It’s time to show both your allies and enemies that you are genuine patriot!

Don’t let anyone capture your base. If you manage to reduce the amount of enemy capture points on a friendly base by 70 or more you will receive the Defender medal, and an additional 1,250 extra experience.

This additional experience will be automatically credited to your account when you receive the medal. There is no need to register or take any special action to take part in the event.

This event takes place from Wednesday 03rd July at 07:10 CEST (+2 GMT) until 04th July at 07:00 CEST (+2 GMT).
