A: “Yes, winrate also depends on parent genetic material and is also predetermined. But not only that – unlike the growth, in case of winrate, upbringing (the skill of working in a group) and education (understanding tactic principles) and training also play a roleâ€

Q: “Is there a plan to remove winrate altogether? It has many negative aspects, why is it necessery at all?â€
A: “I will meditate on that… no, I don’t even know what to say, I have no words. Young man, understand that winrate is just the amount of your victories, divided by the amount of your battles in general and multiplied by 100. To remove this indicator is possible only if we reset the battle count to zero (and in your case, use the free time to train your mental abilities).â€


- in 8.10, in the post battle announcement (the small one in lower right corner), WG removed the amount of credits spent on shells and repairs. This was made intentionally, according to Storm: (left – old, right – new)

And from Overlord:

- Japanese lowtier guns have very poor accuracy “for balancing reasonsâ€
- the color of Japanese tanks was changed to green based on player feedback (SS: specifically Russian players)
- apparently lags on servers are still being looked into
- Overlord states that the nasty FPS drops will hopefully be fixed by final release
- closed beta of WoT Blitz will start early next year
- maps in WoT Blitz are 4 times smaller than in WoT, they will be completely new maps, not WoT ports, however some maps from WoT might be added, like Mines

Lately Erlenberg has become heavy camping map, where no one wants to cross the bridges. It is really rare, when your platoon is able to not even cross bridge and survive, but also manage to clear one side of the map and hold the enemy push from other side.

Maybe it's the fact, that WZ-120 is generally speaking T-54 on steroids and there for I really like to play with it recently. Its gun have its disadvantages, but with a bit of experiences you are able to find terrain bumps to lower your gun and then this tank become a beast.

Pz.Kpfw. B2 740(f)
This Tier IV German heavy tank is a really intriguing vehicle. It is one of the lowest tier heavy tanks currently in the game and really stands out on the battlefield. Its thick frontal armour makes it simple to engage enemies without too much risk of getting damaged. Be warned though, the sides are far more vulnerable! This vehicle is great for heavy tank lovers that want to play at lower tiers and don’t mind being slow.

KV-5
The KV-5 is a Tier VIII heavy tank, and as with all of the KV series it is a member of the USSR nation in World of Tanks. It is a heavily armoured vehicle with a decent gun. While it is unlikely to win any speed races, it is quite easy to remain as the last tank standing on the battlefield. If you are a fan of ramming techniques then this beast should go straight in your garage!

Storm is asking about MM on the developer blog:

“Hello everyone, you’ve all seen the MM video probably. What do you think – what is working well in current MM? What is not working well? How is it supposed to work according to your opinion?â€

From the discussion:

- Storm states that “common opinion is that stock and elite vehicles should be considered differentlyâ€
- there will definitely not be 3-arty hardcap
- apparently there won’t be a rule that stock vehicles will overall end up more as top of the team, because that sucks for the team
- Storm states that current TD situation is 100 percent different from the previous arty (SS: as in – no hardcap is planned)
- Storm states that map-based MM (SS: MM rules different for each map) is unfortunately impossible, because it would lead to even more common map repetition for individual players
- mirror teams (SS: won’t be implemented), they’d kill battle variety
- Storm states that the idea to consider the tier of the gun during MM “is not meaninglessâ€
- there is apparently a bug that when a Chaffee platoons with KV-1S (or other lower tier spread heavies), it will get their MM spread, Storm states he needs to check
- apparently, Storm thinks that the rule for stock vehicles having preferential MM for a while has been cancelled, but he will doublecheck
