    i think it can offer some hours of fun, its like Oblivion in a more fun environment to explore.
    but i would recommend you download a bunch of mods, like everything bethesta made, its halfbaked, and you need to put a lot of effort into it via additional mods for it to offer more fun.
    i installed it just recently, and remembered a lot of exploits i ran into back in the days when i played it, so i got bored suddenly and deleted it.

    oh yea, and its pretty easy to play, i would put it somewhere among the easiest games i've played...but despite its lack of difficulty, it is very time consuming, most of the quests involve walking around the continent, A LOT, so get ready for some pain for your fingers from holding down that W key.

    It had some really cool ones tho like giving yourself tons of speed using spells against a wall to cast them on yourself. One of the cooler items in the game is getting the Boots of Blinding Speed, combined with the right enchanted items or spells you can get the speed without the blindness. Or the guy that just drops out of the sky and dies, his boots allow you to jump really high. That kind of stuff was really missing in Oblivion and Skyrim.

    I'm more lenient towards Dayz, never heard of Owergrowth but smaller teams I can see doing this, it's kinda understandable. These big teams though don't need it, it's kinda ridiculous. Archeage in particular was developed by someone else, they are just localizing it... don't get me wrong it is still a lot of work but the expensive is probably a fraction of developing it yourself.

    It's not like they need the money, they seem to be doing it because they can and the prices are just outrageous and fueled by the fact they know they have something people want and will pay to get.

    I don't think any big project like this is at risk of cancelling, they got too much to lose but definitely I'd be very wary of smaller projects like Dayz (but probably not Dayz itself as it's super popular) as anything *could* happen.
