    By all means no. I had quite a bit of fun playing Katarina against Brand yesterday. Sure, he won lane, but later... But Kata is AOE-pentakill champ so moving on...

    Anyways, it's harder to snowball with them now. You can't just go bot and take easy double since we're in tanky support meta right now, mid laners have bunch of mobility and enough CC and/or burst pre-6 for you to poke, meaning you have to wait until 6. Most assassins are not ranged so this is harder, whereas ranged ones are having it a bit easier.
    Bruiser/dmg junglers aren't helpful either. I used to ignore danger from tanky jungler with assassins since I knew they can't dash out enough dmg to kill before I kill enemy midder, or even get a double kill. Now it's way more risky.
    Top laners generally are either tanky or have sustain so getting easy kills there is harder too.

    Mages have it easier now since they are more AOE - teamfight oriented unlike most assassins so when teamfight start, mage will hurt a lot more then assassin.

    But if you get early lead, you know how to abuse your advantage and you can avoid unnecessary deaths you should easily kill whatever target you'd like.

    If you do 5 or 10 of them, then it's worth.
    But the time you put in them could be spent for doing stuff for your parents/neighbors/part-time job(?) so you could actually earn some cash and buy that RP.

    If you have no other means of getting RP, it's sure worth your time, just spend it on skin/champ on sale :)
