Well, we had a little spat today in the Event thread. Please leave the running of Events up to myself and the mod team here. Calling out a competitor in the Event thread is a no-no and does not properly express your concerns. It is also against the rules (look at the first post in that thread) for extra comments. We have this rule based on past experiences.

If you have a concern with what somebody else is doing in the Event like reporting a ton and only make a few posts etc. just send me an email. Extra comments in the Event thread could cost you points in the Event and more. The other option is to post a non-flaming question in this thread since it is for discussions.

Ok, two very important things:

1. Do no post extra comments in this thread. You can PM me or post in the Discussion thread for this Event.

2. Do not claim posts that you are not doing and do not double claim items from this Event. For example, something is wrong if I only see 15 posts in your posting history, but you claim over 40. At first points will not be allowed if this is being done. If it continues, points will start being deducted and eventually more. That said, please keep it honest and there will be no problems.

Had quite a few who did this today and contacted the main ones to try to get this stopped as soon as possible. If needed (and it will be needed if it continues), we may have to start requiring all post items to have links to each thread your post was in.

Ok, it was very very slow adding all the points tonight, because there are big gaps in the number of posts that some people are doing and what they are reporting. Don't want names or flaming in threads about this. The ones who did it were contacted and did not get the points they claimed on the ones they did not do as result.

If this continues, it will be mandatory to provide links for all post items from now on. Not going to do this every night lol.
