    Well, I love singing with friends, but family? It gets, weird when my father starts pretending to sing like Frank Sinatra. Even tho if I do a better impersonation :p. However, I just like to sing with friends when ever over their houses. It gets fun and all of a sudden turns into a party/competition.

    Not really i aint that great at singing and we dont really do karaoke as a family...Except if one family member singing all the time counts!!! (mother!!! :D)

    I don't do karaoke with friends and family, but I do sometimes play the instrumental of a song and sing along, mostly when I'm home alone.

    Same, I've been doing that since I was a child. I was always afraid of singing in front of family, but I got over that fear now :)

    Listening to music on the Internet and singing solo aren't too bad. It can feel embarrassing to sing in front of an audience, and I honestly think karaoke was made to embarrass singers.

    I honestly like to sing solo sometimes when i am alone but karaoke is just not my thing.
    I don't really have guts to do it, it just starts to feel somewhat embarrassing and i want to stop after the first word.

    Honestly, I don't even know many places where there is karaoke. The few places I can think of are bowling alleys and a couple of restaurants that serve wings, but that's about it. But karaoke just doesn't really seem that popular in general.
