    I've recently been playing Armageddon, a MUD in a harsh desert world.
    The rich, detailed environment, and required role-play make it a very immersive experience, and a lot of fun.

    Because of the nature of the world, you will be robbed, murdered, and attacked. You can pick-pocket, craft items, sell things, and much more. I recently made a tailor, and am trying to make my way in the world.

    There are characters who will help you, although you have to be careful they aren't just luring you to a place where they can kill you and take your money...

    the best part is, if you die, it's the end! You get to make a new character!
