    "The Most Strangely Addictive Game Ever". Odyssey Classic Online is ran by Code Mallet, best known for BATTLECITY (battlecity.looble.com/) and Spark (SPARK-HQ.NET - Spark: The best massive, multiplayer, 2D, over-head, shooter on the internet!). It is a 2d top-view online RPG that is set within a mid-evil setting. There are several player classes available and is both PvP and quest based. "The Odyssey Engine" is the sole inspiration for many other games such as the original "Mirage Online", which ultimately transformed the ease of Online RPG creation with the Playerworlds program.

    Definitely more simple than that. They do have trade skills, magic, guilds, quests, etc. It's the original VB6 online rpg experience that all others have copied from for over 12 years. Justin S., the original programmer, created the game in high school to show people that it was possible to create a dynamic MORPG experience in the language. After seeing what was possible, he expanded upon it and the code is how it is today. Many other games (hundreds), have been created from direct copies of old released code or knock-offs such as Mirage Online (and later Playerworlds).

    It does take a few minutes to catch you bearings; however, you'll find it extremely addictive within a short period of time if you give it a shot.
