    Version of GW2? Only one version :) GW2 is a great game, there's quite a bit of hate from a vocal minority against it but they hardly ever make good points... it's mostly I played the game 300 hours in two weeks and now I'm bored... or I don't like it so others can't enjoy it either, GW2 might not be the game for you but it's definitely not a bad game.

    I'm enjoying it a lot but yeah, it seems like a playthru game. What surprised me is there's a grind of sorts just to get off the ground at 80, but it's not too bad. Still, for $60 it's quite good even if you quit once 80.

    The world of GW2 is fantastic and it's a great MMO, it's a game that can easily last hundreds of hours but it's also easy for people to just get into the run point to point, story mission to story mission, blow through the game at 200-300 hours in two months and then say well what's next. Neither way is wrong... although if either side complains of value they should be smacked upside the head lol

    I think the lack of grind 1-80 is hurting GW2, I don't think ArenaNET anticipated that many players to play as much as they did, without the grind artificially increasing the length of the game, lots of people will and have just dump 200-500 hours in in the first month or two (that's like 4+ hours a day....) then quit while waiting for the next update or expansion. It's not ArenaNET fault either, grind sucks but I think they are learning making "real" content doesn't quite work either as it takes to long... you just can't produce the content faster than the playbase eats it.

    They have an amazing art team and one of the best sound guys in the industry doing the music. The results are awesome.

    Depends on one's expectations, I think people get too caught up in hype and the idea "the next MMO will finally be the MMO that will last me forever". It's just not realistic. Guild Wars 2 is a great game, for me it's served it's purpose and was/is a lot of fun.
