    I am thinking about starting to play Minecraft, i would like to hear opinions of peoples who play it, is it fun or is it boring?

    Just play it, no one but you can tell you if you will find it fun or boring. I think it's a great game, I like it a lot, I play it a lot but will you have the same experience? I have no idea, I've come across people who absolutely love/hate it.

    If you like sandboxes then you'll probably enjoy it, if you want structure then you probably wont. If you don't know what you want then you might want to just pick it up, worst case between the base game and mods you'll probably at least something you'd enjoy and if not well you've support an indie developer.
