Splashfighters Massive Update Review Contest

Splash Fighters The best MMO on the planet. (10/10) The new update allows me to purchase many new items. I love battling with my friends (online and irl) in the 8 vs. 8 guild match or however many players. If Splash Fighters keeps this going man they will be a big as some of the hit games of the decade. (Runescape, WoW, Guild wars, etc.) I think Splash Fighters has a good near future ahead of them. Keep it up!!

Splashfighters massive update review

Comment: I'm just letting everyone know that this game is pure fun and i'm online 24/7 so it must be true, but this is about the massive update...here we go!


THE REVIEW:

Guild Battle:- This is a new addition to tournament mode exclusively for members of a guild, where two teams of four enter an arena to beat the snot out of each other and the victors are rewarded with and accessory or item. I've been in one of these and it's not like the regular team match because instead of seperate life bars, you have one big life bar for the whole team so when one player gets hit the whole team feels it and no one dies until the bar hits zero so it's not a last-man-standing kind of thing. I think feature is for competitive people who want to prove their guild is the best. Guild Battles are like "parties" it's fun and you have plan it in advance because if you don't organize you'll probably fall asleep waiting for random people.


Emblems:- Emblems give you a point boost toward your rank and more points means your treasure boxes open a little faster also the you Game Money you receive from battles is increased, different emblem have different rates, How do you get them?, One way is from Challenge Mode(Mech Temple, Slaughter, Mission Easy or Hard); the other way to get emblems is by doing quests but they don't last forever. I like the new feature because you can improve your rank quicker and before this feature redoing those challenges was tedious. Whenever you receive a quest emblem you think of it as a medal of achievement and when it finally does expire it's back to challenge mode.


Customizable Bundle Purchase:- Three great things One great price, if you have a style and you don't know what to buy then you should try this because unless your totally awesome some stlyes are lame without the right accessory.


New Quests:- More quests are here for you now to complete and as usual you're rewarded, click on your character's Battle Results you will find the "Accomplished Quests" Tab to view your progress. I dont know if everyone is like this but i'm always keeping up with my quests because i'm eager to find out the reward.


Give Present:- The icing on the Massive Update cake I think this the most anticipated feature of all, players are now able buy shop items for their friends. You go into the shop click on "Give Present" choose the item and then the receiver, even if you already have the item you have to buy another one and give it as a gift and since it's not a Trading system it won't attract any hackers; the only bad thing is that people WILL pester you for gifts on occasion.


New Stlyes:

Mercenary:- this style is like a cross between spy and soldier it has the highest TEC of all the styles, high speed, you can pick items while running and most items get a upgrade but it has low STR and low DEF. If you want use mercenary effecctively you have to master the secret combos which requires perfect timing. Since your STR is so low you almost HAVE to depend on items to take down your opponent and in the case where "item" is turned off you'd have to resort to edgeing thats why I dislike fighting mercenaries.

Phalanx:- think of this style as a fusion of knight and android that means alot of STR and DEF and thats good enough for me, when you master this styles moves with different accesories you'll discover many combos, if you're pro your opponent won't last long. Phalanx also has an unblockable special attack which is great finisher. I don't have Phalanx yet but from what i've seen it's definetly on my wish list.


Other New Features:

1 16 Man Match:- The number of players in Death Matches have doubled.....awesome, imagine 16 people on a map like "king of amped" or "underground arena" it would be so crowded you'd think there's a celebrity in town.

2 Total Ranking Change:- New ranking display instead of "300/50000" it shows your current rank and the number by how much it has increased. This isn't really important because you can't judge a player's skill by his rank.

3 Winning Percentage:- While viewing your Characters Battle Result you can now check out your "Winning Percentage".

4 Change Player Number(in room):- This is great, now you can Change the number of players while you're inside the room instead recreating the room, very convenient.

5 Random Room Name:- As the name suggests when you create a room it's get a random title such as "Come On Let's Fight" instead of "Jacky's Game"

6 Mouse-In Skin Preview:- Roll your Mouse cursor over your skin number to see preview of it before confirming the selection,people won't even remember the old function.

7 Character Renewal:- Your favourite Characters from challenge mode have their own unique look now....nuff said.


OVERRALL:

After the Massive Update I didn't recognize the game a lot of changes have been made, making the game more enjoyable.

The xeen the game was very good, new styles, logo, characters changed, new and modified maps and other options in store.
Many people liked the Massive Update, including me, and we will always be happy with these super updates, leaving everyone else happy and anxious.
Hopefully soon, have more of these updates, so more people will play, enjoy the game, and many things.

I would like to show you guys how Splashfighters changed on December 17th, 2009 with its big massive update release!

Here is the massive update list:

-Guild Battle In Tournament Mode(Guild battle)
-Styles “Mercenary” & “Phalanx” (release 12/7/09 with special offer)
-NPC Character Outlook Revision (4 main characters will change outlook ^o^!)
-UI Revision for “Quest” & Quest Adds (If you finish 1 quest you'll receive capsule acc, temporary acc, emblem, or GM)
-Replay Function (It can helps you record every single game you have played)
-Total Ranking Change Indicator (tell how much rank you have increase or decrease by arrow up and down)
-Winning Percentage Calculation (compute the percentages of winning and losing)
-Change Number of Players in Room (now up to 16 players can battle together)
-Random Room Name (Random room name, when you have created room)
-Bundle Buy (choose 3 out of items in the list with discount)
-Give Present (This function can help you send gift to another players by purchase it
-Mouse-In Skin Preview (this function will help you preview a skin before using it)
-Emblems (Increase GM or PTS depend which emblems are you using)

(Wow! LOOK at the list more functions than first massive updated). That increase more entertainment or spectacular while playing Splashfighters.
Now, time for explain, tutorial, and some feeling that changed ME by second massive updated.



First:-Guild Battle In Tournament Mode
How to create Guild battle mode:
Click button "Create Room" > scroll down to the end you'll see a "GUILD BATTLE (TEAM MATCH) ah ha! good job you did it. Now you can play GVG(guild vs guild) and waiting
for guild opponent to come in your room. xD Don't forget choose map first; I suggest try out 3 new maps in this mode.
This function is newest in the Tournament Mode (I love guild battle so much and I also play with my best guildmates). Any player that has same guild(clan) can
fight together with opposite guild. Guild VS Guild you can choose any 3 out of 5 maps. But this MODE has a 3 new maps that do not appear in other MODE.
List for 3 new maps:
-CRIMINAL'S LAB
-TOWER OF DEVIDE
-BRIDGE STONE



You guys can play up to 8 players in this mode which 4 players in each side. For any winner guild that has win in this mode, you can receive random prize including different types
of capsule accessories, items(equipments), or 100GM.
Here the secret must be quiet! LOL Only I and you know; Okay? (If any of you dislike other guild you can challenge them in this mode. And show your guild to them what you got). Also,
you guys can feel the power of your guildmate, how is your guildmate co-opoerate or not! ^^ (don't be serious, I'm just joking.)



Second:-Styles “Mercenary” & “Phalanx” (release 12/7/09 with special offer PERIOD : December 17th - January 7th)
Do you guys LOVE it or not? (I love special offer too much, I bought 1 set of special offer, But I don't tell you guys
which set I had bought).
Mercenary & Phalanx called first ADVANCE styles. Why? I don't know too. HA HA HA! +.+

Detail: This style combine 2 styles SOLDIER and SPY which have status 9tec and 7spd, but str and def only 4, and 5jmp.



And Silver Behind 549B exclusive for Mercenary.



“Phalanx” 799B
Detail: This style combine 2 styles KNIGHT and ANDROID. High def and str, but female and male have different status please determine which one you are going to buy.



And Gunship Transformation Set 499B For Knight and Phalanx

THIRD:-NPC Character Outlook Revision
Here is the detail that I received from SplashFighters Management Team.
"In some of the challenges such as Tutorial or Factory, one of the famous characters in SplashFighters has changed its outlook.
Please try TUTORIAL mode, then there you should see new and fresh Noboru " Which one is the Noboru? LOL, I don't know any of them.
I know only JACKY, LINDA, and BOB. That it.





FOURTH:-UI Revision for “Quest” & Quest Adds
List the prizes that you can receive:
1 type of capsule accessory, temporary accessory, emblem, or GM(game money)
How do you know, which quest you are going to finish?
Click "Character">Battle Result>Accomplished Quests. (And look which quest you almost finish, do that one first, so you'll receive some prize) That make you feel happy.^^





FIFTH:-Replay Function (Ha ha ha time for moviemaker. Who would like to share their skills or any combo with no more lag while record using this function)
Where and How to record replay while playing?
log-in the game go to setting>friend>click "record". That's it, if you don't want to record click "not record"
Because in this system, if you on record game play when you finish game it saves automatic file
Direct file at Splashfighters floder>replay.
You can see your replay by using amped_replay.exe in direct floder. That can help you see other player skill again(how you got owned!) ROFL Joking.
How does it amped_replay.exe look like?





SIXTH:-Total Ranking Change Indicator(tell how much rank you have increase or decrease everyday)
"This will indicate how much rank you have increased or decreased, just by opening your character window.
You should be able to see arrows shown down or above next to your ranking."





SEVENTH:-Winning Percentage Calculation
It calculations pecent of your win and lost together to make a percentage result.

EIGHTH:-Change Number of Players in Room (now up to 16 players can battle together)
This function is the one that I love the most because we can play together up to 16 players (for good computer and internet connection as well)
If not it might lag and disconnect.
NOTE: If more than 8 players, it has only 4 maps you can play. (MACRO DESK, TITANIC, KING OF AMPED, AND ROMANEQUE CITY)
We can play up to 16 players only 2 modes. Which include following list:
*AMPED DEATH MATCH
*TEAM DEATH MATCH

Almost forget 1 more thing about this function. You can also choose number of player by click at the BOX.
But MASTER need to be UNREADY first!! To close and open amount number of people





NINTH:Random Room Name
When you create any room it will random room name for you.
Here are the names of room you will get. (Also, you can create room name of your own):

=Well, I might say that Bundle buy is the type that you guys can chose any 3 accessories or styles in discount in the list.
How you can purchase the Bundle Buy?
=go to shop>special>etc> it has 2 types of bundle prize 499B for Starter's Set and 999B for Advanced Set.

This Give Present function can help you send any accessories, items, or part of skin to your friend or any player that you would like to gift them.

TWELTH:-Mouse-In Skin Preview
This function will help you preview a skin before using. It is easy for those who have more than 1 skin.
Use Mouse point at the skin by non click the skin. Just only POINT AT IT =D
How does it look like?





THIRTEENTH:-Emblems(Increase GM or PTS depend which emblems are you using)
How you can get Emblems?
1. Completing Style Quests [that I had said before on the fourth one (FOURTH:-UI Revision for “Quest” & Quest Adds)]
2. Completing Challenges
(You will get emblem randomly)
Challenges which you can get emblems are:
-Amped Mech Temple
(One of the Basic Style Emblems by App. 10%)
-Amped Slaughter
(One of the Basic Style+ Emblems by App. 10%)
-Amped Mission (Easy)
(One of the Elite Style Emblems by App. 20%)
-Amped Mission (Hard)
(One of the Elite Style Emblems by 100%)
How can we use Emblems?
=Go to character>others>emblem>and choose your emblem, which you want to equip.
But you can get either get an effect of additional GMs or additional points for your treasure box!
