    I give Runescape credit for being a top free MMO for years as a browser game, but how can it seriously win again Perfect World? Do not say download size because that does count!

    I've always liked RuneScape because of it's unique quests and frequent updates but I gotta go with Perfect World, Perfect World's updates aren't as frequent but they are massive when they happen, the game constantly has events, sales, new items. Perfect World has set a new bar on how a free MMO should be maintained.

    gotta go with runescape,
    runescape updates are every week adding new quests, skills updates, fixes and stuff.
    Besides the jagex mods have been more open with the players and you can expect them to play with you,talk and help
    The community also has grown up so there are no more frequent "noobs" shouting you are a noob and stuff
    besides theres a new quest in teh corner of this year and the strnge power event could mark how the updates could now be made and surprise players with new events and stuff
    And don't forget Jagex unique quests with a good storyline and good bosses and jagex are planning on ending some of them

    You think runescape's community has grownup that much? I wish I could see what you did.

    Perfect World has too much going for it (gigantic world, graphics, good pve, good pvp) to vote for runescape..

    Runescape too has tons of minigames, not only combat related stuff but skills you can train, Jagex updates every week and pw liek 3-4 months?
    And graphics don't suck so much like to say they are horrrible, and besides they don't make a game.
    Good pve goes for pw thought.

    TONS of minigames? I don't think so. Last time I saw, it was about 10-20, which is hardly TONS.

    Perfect World has 1000s of quests, and exploration is really fun in it, and finding out about the world through the quests is great fun too!

    Graphics don't make a game, yes, but they certainly help.

    Perfect World has superior combat in the first place, so it is most likely better in both PvP and PvE, though I bet PvP is quite close between the two games.

    The "skills" that you train are boring to watch mostly, and repetitive to train, and Perfect World doesn't have that much repetition. And combat in Runescape is boring to watch as well, it's just two people/monsters/creatures hacking/biting/hitting away at each other. OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!!

    It has tons of quests with deep storyline and lots of exciting skills.

    I will try to keep the duplicate reviews deleted as best I can during the next two matches. This Showdown was pretty clear of that until Perfect World against Guild Wars.
