    This week, Cysero and Artix tweeted some shots of the new UI for computer user, it's a more RPG like UI, with customization slots. We have so much to improve but it's the first big step. Thoughts?

    I have to say, I'm split here. At first I thought all those extras would be skills or new combos. So for a split second I was like YES! Finally, the direction I want for the game! But now, to me it's the same as the barber shop. It's like the team are focusing on improving the look of the game, but don't have any plans to make this go beyond a mobile game. It feels like they want us to hunt RNG drops, collect badges that do nothing and buy ' collectors chests ' and t shirts with real $. So I dunno, looks nice... But if this is all they're going to keep ' updating ' it's getting old, fast.

    I personally dislike the UI. It was hard enough for me to switch from the last UI change. This one just doesn't look good to me at all. I especially don't like the health and mana at the bottom.
     
  4. Not bad, but I think the buttons could be more compact. They're too spread out. I think they should be squares instead of circles right next to each other.

    Yes. I'm all for this update ... and ofc, all the possibilities it brings ... hopefully an expanded skill set for each class ...

    Hmm, I think the mobile UI will be different and more compact ... given that these are based primarily on hotkeys, I don't think placement is important (on PC)

    Sounds like wow :D

    Yeah, step by step, someday, AQ3D get improved to be better RPG like many others...

    Yeah ... I think it has potential ... but they need to focus more on mechanics

    ... the recent battles: Akriloth, Knightmare and Wall of Pain are all steps in the right direction

    ... achievement-based activities are also great - like the exploration ones and challenge completion ones ... though they should have more variety ...

    It could still use some improvement but assignable hotbar slots is a nice feature

  11. Well since it's official, I can now judge it for myself. The UI isn't that bad, but it doesn't offer the best UX. For instance, all of the text is small, especially in places where text is sort of important like in the chat box or on the name portraits. Every time I want to read something, I have to change my posture which isn't really a good thing for a user.

    Hmm ... yeah ... i feel there are flaws with the new UI ... e.g., why fix 6 to only travelform, etc ... also can't set 0 on mobile?
    ... I do appreciate the ability to 1-click to use a travelform and/or quaff a potion though ...

    Let's hope for more improvements ... and skill customisation!
