    I think Unity for indie 3D games and C++ for real programs and real AAA gaming

  9. Unity is a game engine, not a programming language like C++, but it does incorporate C#, which I think is much easier to handle with compared to C++. I would honestly go with Unity for game making, but if you want to use C++, then I would recommend Unreal Engine 4 as your game engine.
