    Many new games doesn't have a decent story to begin with. Maplestory is an old game but it has a great story and the community is great there.

    It does depend from time to time. Sometimes the classics are the most memorable and the most fun that I want to keep playing the game as it is, but I most often dislike it when an old MMORPG tries to overhaul its old style as the same game rather than move on as a new MMORPG as a successor. And sometimes I find an old MMORPG better than the new because of nostalgia.
