It's still very possible but again I think they will likely wait until at least the console release, why axe perfectly good box sales and potential new subs? Better to just see how that goes as they can switch to F2P at any point down the road anyways.

Probably wont ever happen sadly, a free trial that is. Maybe a free weekend but they'll never do a free month. That said the game comes with a month so find it cheap and try it for a month, probably the best way to do it as you'd have to buy the game at some point to play it anyways.

If it isn't Bethesda will have trouble on their hands. However i doubt everything would be free maybe certain items may require paid currency like in most games

*cough* This was posted back in 2014. *cough* That being said, the game is a single pay to play, no more subscription requirements. I doubt they'll go more F2P than that.

Probably, they made Guild Wars 2 Free to play instead of Buy to play.

I don't think so. Because it won't be fair for people who pay for the game :)

Never in a million years lol. This game has far too much content and needs money to provide servers to keep running.

i can't get into the story but it has an unlimited version that's permanent

  12. I think it's silly for a game that requires any payment to instantly become free, because we're looking at a game company that needs profit in order to continue being successful. Sure, the game could become free and start hosting ads, but I don't like that business model at all, and people have already paid for Elder Scrolls Online. I do disagree with monthly subscriptions and think pay2play games should just be one-time only though.
