Hey has anyone here played Empire Earth 1, 2 or 3?

Empire Earth is one of those games similar to the Age of Empire series.
With hundreds of thousands of buildings and military to choose from you
can build your own empire just like Age of Empires but a heap more to
    choose from.

Empire Earth has now grown and released Empire Earth 3 which I
recommend you guys try out. If you're interested into those games
were you can build armies and defend your empire this is the game
for you. But its still fun even if you dont like those games for most.
If you guys need any more info please do ask.

Heres the link to the website: Empire Earth III

i have empire earth 1, it is indeed a clone of age of empires. It has more units, more types of units, more ages, but the gameplay is essentially the same as age of empires.

I have bought both age of empires 2 and empire earth 1. I still prefer age of empires because of the look and feel and because it is original. I only wish that the map and scenario editor would allow a higher limit of units on the map, because then age of empires 2 would be the best strategy game ever made. Empire earth does allow you to have more units, but it is still a clone of age of empires. In fact it's made by the same people who also worked on the creation of age of empires 2. I've played age of empires for countless hours, but I've played empire earth for only a few hours, because it simply is the same thing.

I wish that i hadn't bought empire earth, i've could have used the money for something else. I bought age of empires after i played the demo and i must say it's one of my best purchases ever, defenitely worth the money, can't say the same thing for empire earth. It has nothing really new to offer.

My advise is that if you've got age of empires, then don't bother buying empire earth.

I've only played Empire Earth II, Age of Empires II, but I preferred Empire Earth over Age of Empires, not sure why, I think it's cos Empire Earth had loads of periods of times, from ancient world to the future. Also, I've played Civilization Revolution on DS, which leads me to believe that the Civ series is better than either of those two games :D. Anyway, my favourite RTS of all time is Red Alert 2!!!!! Don't play them much these days though.
