Itâ€™s update time again! Version 1.3 of the game will be released tomorrow and you know what that means: plenty of new content to discover! See what the developers have added to the game in our presentation below. See what the developers have added to the game in our presentation below.

New Branch of American Heavy Fighters

Take a look at the newcomers: P-38 Lightning, F7F Tigercat, XF5U Pancake, F2H Banshee & XF-90.

For this version, our developers decided to fulfil one of the communityâ€™s most frequent requests by bringing a new branch extension to our lineup American Heavy Fighters!

The new line kicks off with the star of the bunch â€“ the legendary Lockheed P-38 Lightning. As the most famous U.S. Heavy Fighter of WWII, we couldnâ€™t leave it out of the collection â€“ in fact weâ€™ve put it in twice! Youâ€™ll find the P-38F and P-38J versions in the game.

Other planes of the class include the Grumman F7F Tigercat and the McDonnell F2H Banshee. Both aircraft were produced in great numbers throughout the war and will surely find a faithful following in the game as well.

Finally, the roster is rounded off by two experimental planes â€“ the Vought XF5U â€œPancakeâ€ and the blazing-fast Lockheed XF-90 jet. While these two planes never saw combat in real life, you can use either of them to challenge your foes in the virtual skies of World of Warplanes.

Improved Personal Score Tab in the Battle Results Window

After introducing the enhanced battle results window to the hangar in the last version, this time we decided to make it even better. From now on, you can browse through your achievements more comfortably by checking the new â€˜Detailed Reportâ€™ tab.

It will show you more of your stats in a clearer fashion and help you to better outline the specific impact that you had on the game. Most of all, it will present you with a detailed overview of your earnings (both credits and XP) to bring the World of Warplanes battle analysis up to speed with the extensive report card that you get to read in World of Tanks.

Added Replay Functions

Another thing that weâ€™ve improved for Version 1.3 are the battle replays. To help you to use them more efficiently, the developers have added a new help screen, additional playback features and a new camera mode, which recreates the camera movements that you performed during the battle that youâ€™re watching.

In addition, to make navigating through the recording easier there is now a progress bar at the bottom of your screen that you can use both for fast-forwarding and rewinding the action.

Various Gameplay Improvements and Bug Fixes

Improved textures for all Tier II-IV planes, new visibility rule tweaks, re-evaluation of achievement goals and better manoeuvrability after dropping an outboard weapons payloadâ€¦ these are only some of the small but noticeable adjustments that will be rolled out with Version 1.3. Our game designers keep a close eye on the gameâ€™s general mechanics and adjust each version according to the overall evolution of World of Warplanes.

Please note that in order to implement the new version, game maintenance will be performed on Thursday 24th April from 04:00 until 10:00 CEST (UTC+2).
