How do you spend your Technology and Stat Points when starting a new world in Palword?

I'll go first.

With the game being open world, you have so many options. What's your approach to playing this game, especially when spending Technology and Stat Points?

When I start a world, I usually collect wood and stone, craft a workbench, and then use the Primitive Workbench to craft a Stone Axe. Then I collect more wood, then craft a Stone Pickaxe. After that, I build a Wooden Club which is useful when battling Pals early on. I also collect Paladium and craft Pal Sphere so I can collect Pals. I also craft a Wooden Chest to put resources so I'm not weighted down by carrying too many items.

Technology:
After that, my focus is on collecting resources and unlocking the Shoddy Bed (to sleep when it becomes night time), Cloth and the Cloth Outfit (so I don't freeze at night). I also unlock the Wooden Structure Set so I can start building a base.

Stat Points:
Early on, carrying capacity is the most important stat. Otherwise, carry too many items will slow you down. So I generally focus on enhancing the Weight stat.

 

Another thing to add, investing in Attack stat points isn't that great since your Pals will be doing most of the attacking. After battling Grizzbolt and Zoe in the tutorial, I realized Health was the most important think to invest in since, in Normal difficulty, Grizzbolt does a lot of damage and chases you down frequently.
