    I haven't seen many maokai's but i think that malphite is better. :)

    They are both really strong tanks, and that 1v1 fight would be pretty boring and really long. I think Maokai is better and i like him more. Malphite's engage is better but Maokai has W(root) every 10 sec i think and that's really strong. Maokai has better cc and that's why i would choose him.

    Malaphite better for combo and for demage and i guess hes better for teamfights, but maokai is good too..

    Malphite players be like run, run, run, run, run, and R Under (e)Nemy. He's also a rock so... He is pretty simple :)
    Maokai, on the other side is kinda tankier, but has lower damage and lower move speed. He has better synergy with teammates so...

    Malphite in few-man fights.
