This game is fantastic and will fast become an addiction. There are many heroes with a huge variety of skills and play style that will fit with anyone's sensibilities. The developer, Gazillion is extremely responsive and transparent with the community and I feel that they love the game as much as the players do. My main is Iron Man and I would like to try branching out more now.

If you play this game you will thoroughly enjoy yourself, and should definitely consider purchasing extra perks like more stash space.

I hope this mini review is helpful and allows me to claim a free random hero!

I posted a review using the link in the OP but I figured I would copy it here so more people could see it.

Comment: This game is really fun! As an avid fan of ARPG games (Diablo 2 and Path of Exile were my favorites before I played Marvel Heroes) this game has everything that I want. A large roster of characters that for the most part feel unique, a loot/gear system that requires a little more thinking than some other games (D3 *cough*), and awesome visuals that really make you feel like you are smashing through the game world as a super hero (or villain in some cases). This game really captures the fast-paced gameplay that hooked me years ago in Diablo 2, with every character having access to a movement skill at level 1. The only problem I have with the game is the chat system can be a bit buggy, especially when trying to link items.

My favorite hero is Dr. Strange because he is the sorcerer supreme. You get to blink all over the map and mash your keyboard and watch everything die to your AoE crap. With your Dreamwalk ability it gives you some survival but Dr. Strange is made up of mostly paper. He was also a pain to level up, but now I blow through most cosmics and collect all the loot.

Currently TaskMaster is my favorite character.

He's insanely well-put-together for 200 splinters and is probably the best hero in the game from a cost:effectiveness perspective.

Between constant healing and the shield proc from his toggles, as well as proccing bleeds from basically everything the way I play him (Shield Throw and Nerve Gas Arrow forever) combined with itemizing for Critical and Brutal Strike Chance... The screen is just a river of damage popups.

First I would like to praise Marvel Heroes for scratching the loot pinata itch better than the full priced Diablo 3 + expansion. It just seems like Marvel better captures what is fun to the genre instead of holding it's players back and gating their experience. Also the mob density in Marvel Heroes is spot on, very satisfying.

Now as for heroes, I took Storm as my starter hero and so far have stuck with her over the other heroes I found. Indiscriminate aoe, flight ability, and rapidly regenerating spirit are some of her best qualities. I thoroughly enjoy floating down the streets having a permanent icy winds aura blowing around and calling lightning on everything on the screen. Storm is definitely a solid starter hero, I recommend her.

    Favourite hero: Hawkeye

Reason: Even with all the bad mouthing of hawkeye, I still love him as my first hero. I have always been an archer type player/ ranged type. With his burst of AOE and single dmg skills, he is an appropriate choice for me. A bit on the squishy side but that just forces me to prctice my kiting skills more. Haha!

    My favorite hero is Loki:

The reason Loki is my favorite hero is because he is extremely versatile. He has stealth, spawns tanks, deals massive area damage, and great speed with his blink. Throughout their childhood and into adolescence, Loki was resentful of the differences in which he and Thor were treated by the citizens of Asgard. The Asgardians valued great strength, tenacity, and bravery in battle above all things, and Loki was clearly inferior to his foster brother Thor in those areas. What he lacked in size and strength, however, he made up for in power and skill, particularly as a sorcerer. As Loki grew to adulthood, his natural talent for causing mischief would make itself manifest and earned him a nickname as the "God of Lies and Mischief". Eventually he takes over the throne of Asgard and was defeated, thus turning sides to heroes against Surtur. What will come from now on?

Could I have a key please?

Captain America. He's not overpowered, but playing him looks and _feels_ exactly like a comic book. Out of all the characters that I've played his style, movement, powers, and just overall gameplay really makes it seem like your in the comic book.

The shield throws and strikes are just picture-perfect.

    my favorite hero is

my favorite hero is between black panther and iron man

reasons I love these characters, both have great aoe and are flashy. Iron man fills the void of a hero that can tank damage and dish it out just as fast and black panther is the stealthy roll in stack damage and get out type of heroes.
