Marvel Heroes Writing Contest

Favorite Hero: Iron man
Why: Ironman: Super armor, beams, missiles, very fast and the popular unibeam.
Tony stark: Genius. Billionaire. Playboy. Philanthropist.
Both tony stark and iron man are awesome, that's why I love him and this translates so well to marvel heroes all his lines are just hilarious and always crack me up.
What I like about playing as him is that you really feel like Iron man on marvel heroes, he has a neat mechanic that the more spirit you have the more powerful you become and he also has a secondary resource: he usess his shield to absorb some damage and can even overload his shield to damage nearby enemies and recharge some spirit, he is just a beast and blast to play.

 

Favorite Hero: Storm
Why: Partially because she was my first hero and for that reason she'll always have a special spot in my roster, not to mention even without a 52 review yet she can still hold her own and clean out a room of mobs with the best of them. Not to mention how great a character she is from all her appearances in comics, cartoons and movies

 

Favorite Hero : squirrel Girl

Why: SG brought a lot of the fun and light hearted-ness back to comics. She was first introduce as kind of a tongue-in-cheek character but since then she has really blossomed. SG is adorable, certainly, but she has beaten some of the most iconic comic book villains. In addition, she does all this with such cuteness and good nature that you just feel good about it. SG is always trying to join one heroic team or another because she just wants to help people.
Also...squirrels! And Tippy Toe has an adorable Itty Bitty Bow.

 

Favorite Hero: Taskmaster
Why: I first saw him in Marvel vs Capcom 3, I liked his play style in that and wanted to check out some of his comics. After reading his UDON mini he quickly became my favorite comic character. I had to get the issues of Deadpool he was in, I like what I saw what lead to me just reading Deadpool, what lead to me reading Cable & Deadpool, what lead to me reading some X-Men titles. Somehow my love for this character has taken me down a spiral of reading and loving practically all of Marvel! I started the game when they added him in and now I got a couple of max level characters. The reason I like Taskmaster so much is because he's opened me up to the whole Marvel Universe!

 

Favorite Hero: Punisher
Why: I can feel someone who takes care of all the crime to big for the police but to small for the other heroes. While other heroes try to keep the planet or country safe, Frank is just trying to keep the streets safe. I wouldn't call him a hero myself, but he is still looking out for the everyday civilian. My favorite stories of his is when he teams up with other heroes, his serious tone when mixed with the likes of Spider-Man or other heroes generally bright personally makes for a great contrast.

 

Favorite: Ghost Rider
Why: Well beyond the fact that it's a flaming skeleton on a motorcycle (that is also flaming). Do I even need to go beyond that? That's metal enough it should buy anyone over.
His comics may not be the deepest, but whether he is fighting demons, or angels, or just thugs. Or if he is a demon, or angel, or Nicolas Cage. No matter what thing they'll think of next to make his lore more confusing, his comics are always a fun ride.

 

Favorite Hero: Jean Grey
Why: Well, she's a redhead like me She's also extremely powerful and well recognized in Marvel universe. The phoenix/rebirth motif makes her both tragic and interesting character.
In game: flying as her flaming phoenix manifestation and immolating everything feels incredibly good, enjoyable and rewarding. This is exactly how playing superhero in games should feel like

 

Favorite Hero: Loki
Why: All the reasons he's my favorite are reason to not call him a hero, but I guess he still counts. Best part about Loki is when he does do good and save the day because that just leaves me wondering "what angle is he working here". There is always some scheme going on with him and trying to figure it out is one my of favorite parts about reading any issue he is him. More often that not when I try to figure it out I'm wrong and he's playing some tricky angle that have fooled me!

 

Favorite Hero:Iron Man
Why: Seriously? He's a billionaire, playboy, industrialist and really an amazing engineer. I honestly liked this superhero since I was just a little boy. I remember watching TV like a possessed kid when Iron Man was on-air. Also, I was so into Iron Man, that even my parents began to like him; they also knew quite a lot about him since I was talking all day long about him with my friends or my cousin. Iron Man was really my hero as a kid and a real inspiration, and I think he contributed a little bit to my personality. "My old man had a philosophy. Peace means having a bigger stick than the other guy."- Tony Stark. Oh right, another reason why I love Iron Man. F***ing Robert Downey Jr. plays him. Kidding me? =)

 

Favorite Hero: Moon Knight
Why: Are you crazy for justice and revenge? Well, Moon Knight is. He doesn't have any powers, but don't let that fool you. He wears white so the scum that infest the streets can see him coming even in the dead of night. All the faces of all my enemies must beware when I hear the voice of Khonshu calling for Vengence.
Batman ain't got squat on ol' mooney.
His powers are awesome in game too. Stack bleed effects and pull guys in with the snare. Moon Knight has great skills for tanking/melee or ranged, depending on what you spec.

 

Favorite Hero: Iron man
Why: The first iron man remains one of (if not the best) marvel movie today, and RDJ plays him excellently. As for playing him in MH the main reason i love him in game would be One off, I'm not sure why but its just so satisfying to use. Secondary reason would be pulse bult. It stuns and goes through everything, meaning i don't have to reposition myself if a bunch of mobs get in the way off my target.

 

Favorite Hero: Deadpool
Why: Well, for me Deadpool was new. I never read a comic about or with him, but I loved him at the first moment I started playing him. Since then I have read some Deadpool comics and they are pretty funny. So I think I've become an official Deadpool Fan. The Merc with a mouth. The total package.

 

Favourite hero: Deadpool.
Why: deadpool's my favourite because he's a great guy that would never threaten me or hold my family hostage if i didn't say good things about him.

 

Favorite Hero: Scarlet Witch
Why: Gameplay wise she is almost perfect, even without 52 review - she is mobile, has great AoE and CC powers, her single target dps is decent,also she is quite tanky with Ravenous Bindings and DMG reduction from Chaos Warp. But most importantly she was my first hero, I played her more than anyone and lvling her is not painful imho (compared to Black Widow f.e.)

 

Favorite Hero: Taskmaster
Why: Why the Taskmaster? Why not? The clue is in his name, there is no task in this he can't master. Fun to play? Check. Ranged build? Check. Melee build? Check. Cosmic terminals solo? Mob slayer? Tanky? Movement? Check check checkety check. Some of the best voice over work in the whole game to boot all this and more for a measly 200 Eternity Splinters? they must be mad.

So, no matter your prefered play style choose Taskmaster today... or are you some kind of scrub?

 

Favourite hero:Wolverine
Why: He does not only have this awesome mutation that makes him almost inmortal, with all this thing that he gets cured very fast, he ages slower, if only one cell is alive and gets enough energy he comes back to life (as seen on the king-size special number don't-remember-but-think-it-was-two), being able to run for a longer time, being almost inmune to poison... And besides he does have an adamantium skeleton (ok, it's artificial, but so what, Iron Man ain't made of Iron and everyone likes him!) and claws also covered with this "unbreakable" material... how many heroe can say all that?
besides, he's a "i-don't-care-if-you-don't-like-it-I'll-do-it-anyway" kind of guy, has been through a lot, been a samurai, CIA agent, barman (okay, that's not very impressive but hey, everything adds in a curriculum vitae!)... Knows almost every kind of fighting skill (or was it killing skill?), about computers, stealth, bla bla bla...

 

Favorite Hero: Spider-Man
Why: Spider-Man was the hero i first met when i started watching marvel movies and animation. I believe Spider-Man is the best hero because he is the only hero that most looks like normal people. He had a job and had to get his own money to buy things he wanted, he created his own costume (the first one, at least) and a web shooter too. So he created everything he needed with his own resources, even not having that much money. Also i think of all heroes he's the most humble between all the rest. As Peter Parker himself was used to say: "your friendly neighbourhood Spider Man". This is what makes Spider the best hero

 

Favorite Hero: The Punisher
Why: He is a one man fighting machine against criminals, supers, villians, whatever he feels like fighting. He would probably survive a fight against the entire multiverse and survive.

 

Favorite Hero: Deadpool
Why: Hes freaking hilarious, especially when hes talking to/about Wolverine. I love how hes usually voiced by Nolan North too, he fits Deadpool's personality perfectly!
