    Hey guys, Two step verification for PS4 has been out for a little bit now and i recommend using it, just as another precaution.

    On PS4: Go to settings > PSN Account Management > Account Information > Security > 2 step verification.

    Yes and it's about time, my account was stolen because their security is absolute crap. They didn't care one bit, just wanted to keep the money. They still haven't refunded me after agreeing too almost 2 months ago and have since banned me from chat support... I was very polite so I'm not sure why. It's extremely frustrating an if that refund never comes... I will absolutely never buy another Playstation product ever again. This is something they should have added years ago.

    Anyone on Playstation should enable this ASAP.

    I also never got refunded awhile ago for a game that was falsely advertised, spoke to them for ages. But here in ZA the support is pathetic.

    Lucky enough nobody has tried to get into my account as of yet.

    It's pathetic here too. Only place it's decent is probably Japan. Really sucks. I got two more weeks an then I gotta contact them again an see what the excuse is now. *Sigh*

    They made it sound like they were doing me a favor lol, dummies originally gave my account back to the person who stole it too... it was a like a bad CS skit.

    I think a bigger issue with the PS4 is its internal CMOS battery which can brick the console when it dies out, since Sony uses it to validate trophies and possibly even games by their stored date and time. I do think the extra security is over the top though, especially for the trophy system, especially if the consequence of a battery dying out leads to a bricked console. How they can even have such an oversight, I have no clue.
