What i love about runescape

As a long established member of this game (7 years), what i love most about runescape is there is no one long storyline. There are many different paths you can choose in playing this game and none of which lead to an ultimate end. There are limitless possibilities on how to play this came and you can do whatever you want whenever you want.

One of the best things is each skill in the game directly or indirectly helps out one or more other skills. Take for example my favorite skill, slayer. You have the possibility to be training up to 6 skills at once while doing slayer (attack, defense, strength, hitpoints, prayer and slayer) as well as it being a great way to meet people with the same interests, and a great way to earn money.

As of recent, jagex has been working more on interacting with their players even more (through ingame events, updates that support different groups, and the jagex cup). The thing that interest me the most is how they have worked to improve the clan community which is a big part of this game. As a member of the clan community (Currently in 'the' clan, 10 years running!), i can proudly say that jagex has been doing a great job with interacting with clan communities as well as other communities involved in this game (such as these forums).

All in all i believe the support from the creators and developers of this game, with taking input from the players so often, is why runescape is a great game to play.

 

l like runescape. a lot of us do, its fun, addictive, and Amazing. i like the random and holiday events. i like how there are updates at least once a week. i like how its a safe place to play. rs is simply great, and amazing. (its a free online game, and it has Amazing graphics for a game you dont have to download) i like how there are no cheats. and most of all, i like YOU!

 

Wow! Runescape, where to start?

By far one of the of the best aspects of RuneScape is the skills system. Unlike many other MMORPGs RuneScape has a skills system! And not only that, it is detailed, well thought out, useful and most of all - enjoyable! From hunting in the icy planes of Trollweiss to crafting runes of unimaginable power and even building your own house - RuneScape has it all. The great thing about having so many great skills is that if you get bored of one you have 23 other skills to choose from.

Updates, updates, updates! That's right, updates galore! With the dedicated staff at Jagex updates are added almost weekly (when there isn't one in a week you can be sure a big one is coming!). Because of this mass of updates there's always new content coming out, new things to do, new places to explore and new items to get!

I can't forget to mention the community. Runescape wouldn't be the same without its massive, yet helpful and nice community. Not only the RuneScape community itself, however, but also the communities of the numerous fan sites (of which there are plenty). Furthermore, it is not uncommon (anymore) to see get the chance to see or talk to staff members with their participation (and sometimes hosting) of events. With over 8,956,012 posts in the events forum you can be sure there's always something happening.

Whilst I don't want to take up all of your time there are a few more things I must mention. With 158 quests (and growing) and numerous miniquests which cater for all levels of play you can be sure to have a great time. Not only that but RuneScape quests are not like most MMORPG quests which are along the lines of "Go here and kill X rats", no, RuneScape quests are detailed, fun and full of rich lore about the game (which you can skip, if you're not interested). Furthermore, the fact that the game is browser based is great - you can play it anywhere with relatively no downloads (think a flash game size) but its graphics are still great! There's no other game that can boast such a small size with such great graphics. Finally, I couldn't miss saying how much I like the minigames, no matter whether I want pvp games, skilling games, tactical games or just some fun team work RuneScape has it all.

Whether I want to smash and bash or rest and quest RuneScape is there for me.

 

Runescape is the best game i see ever , im start playing runescape from 2005,so i now playing for 4 year , i like playing runescape because :
-The quest is very fun
-Strong weapon
-Strong monster
-You can be rich
For now im wielding full rune and rune berserker shield with rune scimitar, my combat level is 61 , i like to train my strength,and other
But , im F2p ,so i can't levelling in thieving or slayer
so i going to leveling in f2p with killing f2p monster

Loving RuneScape

I love Runescape as it is a very fun to play. I can play with my friends and chat with them. I love my Runescape as I will create more accounts to play. Lol. I love going to clan war and bounty world. Also, I like the updates of RuneScape too. I wish to become a member as I can the benefits of members like learning new skills, playing more minigames, quests, even members stuff and other fun activites! Lol, I addicted to RuneScape! Thank You!

i like how jagex are making the quetions and answers so they really care about what players think and what they like in runescape. in other games developers just do some updates and they doesnt care about to the players care or not. i think jagex always look in the forums and they keep themselves informed about players feelings. i think that is the most important thing about what developers must do, they have to keep them informed about what players think about game.

I've been playing Runescape for maybe 5 years, but it still has more stuff to do. Best thing in whole game is questing. It gives you places to go, things to do, stuff to achieve, something more than "burn log -> repeat" needed for some skills, althought that also is fun sometmes. Jagex are great game makers, and Runescape is their masterpiece. It's hard to imagine time when RS closes down, which will hopefully never occur.

 

I like how the game's got lots of details and how it brings all the kind of medieval age together
The different outfits, and different kinds of armours and weapons.
How it's got lots of fun quests and addictive minigames
The skills and the parties.
Just.. every detail
& how you get to meet lots of people who share the same interests from around the world.
It's also good to know that I'm not the only girl who's into video games. =D hahaha.

Oh and the talking NPC's and it's got lots of useful information like the smelting stuff. tin and copper etc..

my opinion for runescape game

I like runescape because it's a game where you can do watever you like....also,it's easy to play because you don't need to use keyboard ,it's all by using mouse.there is a many skills that you can train them, and it's really funny to do it,besides, if you got a good combat level you can join an official runescape clan , and that is the best thing i like in runescape, because it shows valeur of your combat skills by attacking or tanking..,also, i enjoy player killing with clans,moreover,it's nice to have a lot of types of ores..that are used to make weapons , at last, runescape is the best adventure game i have played.

 

What I like about Runescape

First of all, I would like to start by pointing out that English isn't my mother tongue. So if you see wrong words or something else, please forgive me.

But this post is going to be about Runescape, not my language.
I have created my Runescape account many many years ago. Somewhere in 2005. It looked very different back then, but the game immediately took my attention. This was the game I ahd been looking for for so long.
An excellent combination between free to roam, skills, combat, quests and online interaction.

A friend of my introduced me to Runescape, he showed me Lumbridge, with all it's farms and animals. It was a magical experience. I never stopped playing since that moment.

Some time later, I finished all of Runescape's F2p quests, had some rune armour and my skills had improved. So I decided to purchase me Runescape membership. And from that moment, I entered a world with even more potential, with even more exiting things to do.
I swear, the atmosphere of every quest, every new area you explore is indescribable.

Runescape is my first and only love
I will never stop playing. Runescape keeps me entertained, it never gets boring.

 

What I love the most about Runescape..........Well if I had to choose one thing it would have to be the constant updates. For a measly $5.95 a month I get a chance to be involved in one the of the most updated games online. With each month there is at least one update that effects me and the way I play. I like having new things to do if I ever get bored from somethng else. The kind people at JaGeX make it thier priority to make sure they update something for everyone. I may not agree with every update but the majority of them I love. Thanks JaGeX for making a game that you update oh so much!

 

RuneScape and what is good about it.

My name on RS (RuneScape) is Fishslap12 (Slap2001 at the moment) and the things I like about it is the following:

Friends - each day you get to make new friends throughout this friendly game, I know I have not been nice to many players but 2nd chances are allowed are they not? Friends help us through the way and cheer us up when we are feeling down. Look how the top people have themselves there. They ask for help from many people other than just trying to do it on there own.

Activities/Minigames - This is a way in which players interact with each other and work as a team to try to win this and there are many minigames such as: Soul Wars, Pest Control, and many more which require you to work in a team to help your team win. A new minigame is released each year with the feedback from many players, some old players, some new, who have a really good idea about the game. This shows that Jagex allows players to have their ideas heard, what they would like to see in the future, within the forums and the polls. This is also a good way to make new friends.

Skills - The skills are basic really, once you get used to them, the game shows how to make money, some lose money, and some help you level combat up. Popular skills such as strength, and cooking are used each day by vast players over throughout the RuneScape Community, which level up quite fast depending on how, and where you train.

Quests - The quests what are added are mainly members but these give good rewards and better places to train, along with new types of monsters and items to use. These are added each three or so months once a wide selection of people gain this or they are really willing to see new quests.

The overall things that I enjoy doing in RuneScape are the minigames as you associate with other players and you get to make new friends along the way. The Quests are really good and are quite enjoyable. The skills are varied for me but overall if I had to choose between skills and quests, I would choose skills. All of the above things are what I really enjoy and what is good ways to spend your time in RuneScape. Hopefully this shows my way of what I enjoy about RuneScape and why it is good to play.

RuneScape - the first online game I ever played. I found RuneScape shortly after "RuneScape 2" was released. I created an account with some random numbers and began playing. (how original, right?) There was no tutorial island when I started, so I had to figure everything out by myself and learn from my mistakes. Fresh in Lumbridge, the mysterious city full of many people at the time, I wandered aimlessly for hours upon end. I met the evil Ent that broke my very expensive bronze hatchet as well as the ominous wilderness. Oh what a wretched place! To be lured into there not knowing what would happen!

Ah, I remember my first 1k. I thought I was the richest man alive. I bragged to all my friends, where they were only scrapping up several hundred coins. It was so hard to make money back then! I remember picking up things on the ground and running to the general store to sell it to make a quick few gp. When I got over 10gp I got that warm and fuzzy feeling inside. Now I feel it when I get a few million gp!

The best part about RuneScape is that you get a chance to explore a virtual world with no chance of messing up! You can talk to some of the hundreds of peolpe around you, trade with them, give them assistance in skills that you have perfected where they haven't, and so much more!

One of the other good parts of RuneScape is the free play aspect. Unlike other games, freeplay in RuneScape isn't some 10-day demo, or has extremely limited gameplay. It's almost like it's own seperate game. You can do a lot of skills, challenge your mind in the 15 or so quests and have a great time with friends. On the other hand, there's members. Everything is 100x bigger with more areas to explore, more quests to do, and better yet: more skills to train! With updates coming each and every week, there's an unlimited amount of things to do. I remember when I would plan out what I would do in RuneScape the next day, but then scrap it when I saw what cool new quest was out or awesome new skill.

RuneScape is a game like no other. It's originality and the fact that is an online game truly brings out how talented the people at Jagex are. To have that high graphics through Java is simply amazing, and I am stunned at how much I admire this game. I have been playing this game for a really long time and it amazes me how far it has come. Thanks Jagex for giving me something to do in my free time! <3

What I Like About Runescape!

I have been playing Runescape for 3 years now. I am a Player Moderator in Runescape, for now 10 Months. (Player Moderator, not Jagex Moderator, this isn't Staff Impersonation). Runescape's catch phrase is "The Massive Online Adventure Game", this phrase suits it, Runescape is the best game out there! Runescape is an amazing browser-based game! The only requirement you need to play this is a computer and Java. It even works on slow computers like mine . Runescape is a very exciting game! There's lots of places to go, including islands you can travel to. This game never gets boring because there are quests and skills to train, it's like you want to just keep playing. The #1 thing I love about Runescape is how friendly and personable the Jagex Moderators are. They will answer a questions with a real reply, full of great information. When you want to have a normal chat, they will. Each and every Jagex Moderator are easy to talk to, you wouldn't find and that are intimidating. Jagex picks GREAT Jagex Moderators (workers for Jagex) and Player Moderators (Volunteers Players who help support the community). The Player Moderators are all easy-going, nice to talk to, and very helpful as well. Jagex listens to EVERY Player's questions and ideas. They answer the questions nicely and put all the ideas into consideration. The game is easy to understand and easy to get addicted to. In the game you can add people to talk to privately and you have a friends list to add your friends. By playing this game, you meet a lot of new, great people! I like that the game is free to play, so when you're first starting out you can try the game and experience it for a while before you pay. Or if you can't renew your membership for some reason, your account goes back to Free To Play and doesn't get deleted. Having a membership is great *wink* . I enjoy playing Runescape and no other game comes close to this one. Every update they put in seems to get better (all are great ). Runescape is GREAT OVERALL!

The rules are easy to follow and straightforward. There are not very many of them, may I add .

One great thing is: You Can Never Mess Up!

So my conclusion: What do I like about Runescape? EVERYTHING!!!

I like the extra features that Runescape Membership has. It makes you addicted. I love the minigames, extra items, new skills, the graphics. But mostly, I like the quests. To me, the quest send a strong message of everyday heroes. And the thing is, you can just be a heroe on your computer. I also love the interaction that you have with players. Everybody is very well excepted. I have been a member, but now as a nonmember I realize how much I missed. I especially like Fletching. To many, this is a boring skill, but to me, it helps my ranging. I also like the challenge that Runescape Membership gives you. You fight harder monsters and harder skills. I also like the new areas of the game. My favorite part is Ardy. It is a great city to train in.

Last, but not least...I thank Jagex for making this game so much better. Those guys really work hard to get a smile on Adventurer's faces like me. They do a great job at understanding criticism and giving back updates that fix it.

I also thank GameOgre to give us nonmembers a chance to be back in Runescape Membership...you guys don't believe how happy you make me feel. Thank You.

I really like runescape because it's a way to be with my friends when I can't go to the place we usually meet. I also like it to escape my worries in my life and to have a good time for a while until I remember about school and homework XD. I also like it because I can meet new people from other places and countries and to practice my other 2 languages with them at the times we meet. it is also fun to lvl up and go and kill really strong enemies like kalphite queen and go to God Wars and try to get a hilt but get something cool 2. i would like to win the membership because i wanna finish dessert treasure and get a whip to get other cool things. the best thing i mini games that i can remember are stealling creation barbarian assault and Castel wars. the worse minigames (for me) are the burthrope games rooms and mobilising armies because they are complicated.

what I love about runescape is that every week I get to experance something new.Something like a new quest to look forward to every month or something like an update to a skill to make training it more fun.Its awsome almost every week I know there will be something for me to do or check out new that week.
