I like RuneScape a lot. I liked how back then, before the trade limit and Wilderness updates. I also like how RuneScape's graphics use to be crappy, but now are actually 3D and looking pretty fine, except the *cough* LAG *cough*. RuneScape is what got me into online MMORPG games, so I'm grateful to Jagex. FunOrb is pretty cool, too. I play RuneScape and games on FunOrb weekly.

This game is so cool becuase you can connect with other people , share stuff, talk ,you can laugh with them , and you can do quests . They are so many quests and the awsome part is that you can explore , find things. You can change your hair , your cloth .I like when u go to Hallowen event , becuase you need to pass the spider web thats awsome and funny , becuase th people say *o no i am lost* and he laugh we lagh and when you win stuff like the mini spider he is so funny . The Best of the game is that you can share with the people around the world , i can help them , then can help me , we gift stuff to each other , we go both to a world and we win. I like the goblins they are so funny , the quests to i like for EXPLOR3 and Millions of people in the game . Truth is that Jagex is awsome and this is my first website (RUNESCAPE)of the Onlines games !! yeAAA

Runescape is the best

Runescape is so cool . I've been playing it for around 4 years, and it's been awsome throughout those years. I've always loved the fact that it runs through the browser instead of downloading it. Another thing is that the graphics are low enough for low end computers, yet still look really good. There is so much to do on there, giving you the choice of what you want to do. Jagex also does a real good job of keeping up with it and not letting the game dwindle. They are always coming up with new ideas for it and having new things on there. The music is good and there are a nice variety of tunes to listen to. I love the fact that its a full 3D game and not a 2D or partial 3D. You can also change the graphics so that they can fit to your computer better with as little lag. Runescape also has a large map that has so many different features to it, like deserts, forests, and marshy areas. There are also a lot of items to use at your disposal, with more coming out everynow and then. They keep the game interesting for both the members and non-members. The social interaction between players is easy to use by just typing and pushing enter. Also, the quests are very entertaining and imaginative. They also aren't short and simple. Some really take some thinking and work to accomplish.

So like I said, Runescape is an awsome game. These are just some of the things that I like about it. Jagex, your doing a great job and keep it up.

What i like about RuneScape

What do i like about RuneScape? It must be a lot of things as i have been hooked for several years.

Lets say... The sense of achievement for one, the competition for ranks and money, the fun and friends and the great clan community!

Right from the start there have been; skills to train, quests to complete, minigames to advance in, cryptic puzzles to solve, tactical duelling, strategic clan battles and distractions and diversions to... distract? (The latter can take up a whole session of gameplay, that's how extensive the variety is, and you can come back the next day and repeat the same again!)

Whatever skill i want to do there is so many ways to train it, whether i want quick experience, quick moneymaking, fun experience, group experience, there is a little something for me.

A very customisable, accessable game with a diverse community of players.

As the old saying goes, "time flys when you're having fun", it certainly does!

What I like best about RuneScape are the different types of people you meet. Since I have strayed away from friends in real life because most of them do drugs etc, I have become attached to many of the people that are on my friends list. More in particular, this one very special person. They make me feel great. It's an experience like no other. I wouldn't of been able to guess that I would be having so much fun with people I have never met in person. Training skills and playing mini-games seem fairly childish, but just doing something with someone who's interested in you really makes my day. So I would have to say that all of my friends are online. It's more about the game, its about the community and the people who make it up that give it life, and I wouldn't change that for anything.

The thing I personally like about Runescape the most is all the game time that you can have with it, without getting bored. With all the quests that are realeased it can be a struggle to keep up with them and all other new content. Its a game I've played for over 5 years and I've had fun all the time when I've played. I'v e always personally enjoyed questing and this game is one of the games I feel I can stick at because the quests follow proper story lines and link to each other where as some other games don't.
You also have the added option as well as quests in game, to work on skills which because you can choose what to work on yourself, giving the game more individuality.
With so many skills in game, there is always plenty to do and if you get bored of one skill you can always move onto another or talk to friends while doing some of the skilling or quests via privite chat or clan chat.
If you find yourself bored with that then you could always resolve in doing minigames such as stealing creation, pvp, or killing boss monsters with friends suck as the dagganoth kings. There is always plenty to do.
Jagex have started implying more of events recently involving some of their own staff members getting in game. Having an actual member of Jagex staff to talk to in game and have fun with is great. It brings down the barriars between the game players and developers. Having that broken down means a lot as it proves that they do care about the community which some companies don't. Some of the Jagex team do reply via the forums, but having someone to talk to in game always beats that as it shows the non-believiers they are human as well.

What I love about Runescape:

Firstly, the freedom of play. Almost every other MMO out there has characters based on classes. Usually Warrior, Mage, Priest, etc. Runescape does not. It allows you do use all the abilities and skills and train the way YOU want to. Want to range and mage? Go ahead! Mage and Melee? SURE!

Secondly, constant change. I've been playing for around 5 years now and there has been so much change sense I started. I have never even heard of a game that's updated at the very least monthly. And these aren't just bug fixes, new quests, items, minigames, everything!

Thirdly, range of play. There are many different way you can play Runescape. Many players focus on PVP, others choose to be skillers or questers. There are also merchants and people who just like to socialize with clans and events. There's always more then 1 way of doing something, which is great for keeping things fresh.

Lastly, its cheap! Only $5.95 a month! For all this content who can refuse that! Ok that sounds more like a plug. Anyways, go Runescape!

Runescape is the best..!!I've been playing for almost all my life..
Runescape has lots of fun things to do..!! The most that i like to do is the quest because it lets u earn stuff.. And its fun doing them.!
I also like that ur able to make money and buy stuff and ur also be able to master ur own levels and be able to let ur charcter be what ever u want it to be..!!!

What I like about Runescape

Why do i like Runescape?

I love almost everything about Runescape. I love training my skills to 99 and leveling up. I like to set goals for myself to get certain levels and eventually have all skills at level 99. The think i like most about Runescape is the chat. I love the clan chat/private chat/public chat and the way they work. I have played other games that do not have this and i quit them just because they dont have the chat systems. To me, this is one of the most important parts in an online game because I like to make new friends and interact with other players in game. I also like the minigames and quests, just for a break from the repetativeness of skilling. Another thing that is the most important part of Runescape to me is the hiscores. I like seeing myself get further up on the hiscores and watch my total experience rise. I also like how the game is updated almost every week, just so that there is something new to do and it never gets boring. I also like the forums. Going on the forums and making G&A threads or looking at other people's threads. Goals ftw! And I also like that Runescape is a browser-based game, so you do not have to download anything, which also means that every time there is an update, you don't have to download it before you can play. (besides the 3 seconds it takes for the browser to download it or w/e it does when you load the page). This is also helpful because u can play it anywhere on any comp without downloading. Go Jagex! I also like(d) the trading system because you can trade any items to your friends! or ppl you dont know! I like training slayer because it is always changing, i like training hunter because its lots of $$$$ (d imps ftw), I like getting skills to lvl 98 and my friends saying "wtf y didn't u get 99?" i guess they have no patience. (I have a goal to get lots of 98's and get all to 99 at same time (kinda), but i guess some people dont understand that) I also like that Runescape has good graphics and how they got rid of all the lag that it used to have. Yay no lag! I like a lot of other things in Runescape but fail to mention them because I do not have the time to continue posting on this thread while I could be playing Runescape. The only thing i dont like is the recent runecrafting update =(

I like abby whips And holiday events Runescape makes it fun to be sick and stay home from school :sick2: Although I play 24/7, so it makes me sleep in class but i dont care cause i just argue with the teacher and i get an A anyway cause im smart I'm on my computer playing runescape 24/7 but my parents :hair2: think im doing my homework because I am smart . People talk about my behind my back in school because I play runescape too much so i have no friends irl So it would mean a lot to me if i could win this competition, and i would love Jagex or whoever grades these forever : . Actually i wont but i would still like to win this because I like Runescape

What I love about runescape!

Runescape is an amazing game!

Here's my reasons.
-The people of the community are extremely nice, and the videos on youtube usually hilarious! If you get around enough you can get pretty good friends that treat you as if you knew them in real life!
-It is almost impossible to get bored on Runescape, the skills expand so far and a lot of them are very different. You could chose to be a warrior and fight the entire time you play, or you can live a peaceful life of farming and making a house of your own without ever killing a soul!
-The game itself can teach you a lot of stuff that will help you in the real world! For example, the Runescape economy is like the Stock Market. Or even simple things as how Tin and Copper are combined to make bronze or the names of the knight's of the round table!
-The stories in the quests are very well thought out and range from hilarious to sad to happy to just plain silly. The Runescape history is very interesting to read.
-Every other week there is an update that comes out! The fact that Runescape updates itself so frequently that when I get bored and can't find anything to do. I just wait a week and I'm good to go. When they add a new skill into the game that adds hundreds of hours of game play right into the game instantly!
-Even if you ever beet the game and get all the skills to 99, you can still have fun at minigames with your friends! I myself have spent many of hours just at minigames for no other reason then to have fun with friends.
-The people at Jagex have the best Customer Service I have ever seen in my life! If you ask them a question they respond with in a hour alone. With millions of player, I'm surprised they can answer that many questions and concerns in that time period! Also, they actually listen to game players and make updates according to what players think, most other game designers don't even care what you think and make what they want. Jagex even makes competitions to let there players win prizes, like this one! Jagex even gave a player an all expense payed trip to for the player EXCL to go to Jagex Headquarters! They never stop impressing me.
-The game's level of difficulty spans so far! When you start off you can tell the game is pretty easy, simple puzzles, nice friendly characters, and monsters that die in barely any effort, but after looking deeper into the game it gets extremely hard. Examples are killing the Tz-tok-jad, Corporeal beast, or doing quests such as Mourning's end part 2, While Guthix sleeps, and The Great Brain robbery.
-They have special events for different times of the year! Jagex has events for different holidays and even seasons! Once you finish these events you get a special item (and emote) that you keep forever, players in the future see this as how long you've been playing Runescape, and gives you a sense of Achievment.
-Speaking of Achievment, whenever you do something important on Runescape you get a good feeling that you have done something that took a huge amount of time and effort.

Runescape Love!

The reasons I love Runescape:
1 The environment on the game is well-mapped and -thought out.
2 The versatility of the equipment, even for f2pers, is mind boggling.
3 The updates are a constant barrage of awesome pwnage.
4 The combat is an amazing system of reward and work, the longer you work, the better the reward.
5 the world is vast for f2pers, but for members it is a universe!
6 the communication is simple, point and click for diablo-esque gameplay.
7 mainly all mouse work, no confusing commands with the keyboard.
8 most people will readily help you with a quest or achievment.

I really love Runescape because of the quests. The action and the storylines, like the Sea Slug quests with Kennith's Concerns huge plot twist at the end (I won't give spoilers away). The cave goblin storyline also intrigues me greatly and although I haven't finished it, I'm hoping to soon. Also I love the sense of community that sometimes happens when you train certain skills like thieving and agility (two of which are my favorites) in Ardougne and the Brimhaven agility arena respectively. I love meeting new people and making new friends as I train two skills that I love, even if my new friends and aquantances don't. I also love the Role-playing aspect of this game. I'm a sucker for a good medival role-play and that's exactly what Runescape is (So thank you very very much Jagex! I'd owe you one but I already buy membership! lol)!

I just want to say thanks again to Jagex for coming up with such a great game and although I'll need to cut my membership short in a couple of months, unless I can find a job, I still like playing the free-to-play version and training my skills, especially Runecrafting as I am aspiring to get lvl 99 in that skill, after I get my quest cape! lol. Thanks again!

 

What I enjoy about Runescape.

I joined Runescape 6 years back,since then I have seen it grow so much. I liked how your player wasn't just in one class(bowman,warrior, mage, etc.) I liked the freedom to be able to be anything you wanted to be, or everything of course. I enjoyed the new things Jagex would come up with, summoning, achivement tasks, new items,req. assistance, etc. They were always fun. I also have always liked the medieval setting to Runescape, it's one of the reasons I started playing. I thought it was so awesome when I saw my friend play this game, and it is quite awesome, I said that I had to start playing that game! There is pretty much always something new going on in Runescape. It's one of the many things I enjoy. If I ever want to take a break, I can always come to Runescape and enjoy my cyber charcter's life.

Connecting with other players from around the world is very awesome too. I love to make new friends, and there is such a variety of people on Runescape.It's very enjoyable to have conversations with them. The Runescape events have always been very fun, it's not always the same event quest, it's something new every time.

There are many things that I like about RuneScape.

I like the way the amount of effort placed in the game allows us to reap the benefits, that those that do not put as much effort into the game, do not. Such as the new untradeable herblore potions, the way your effectiveness in combat is based on which skills that you actually raise, and if you raise every skill, you can counter every combat skill.

I like the way we can raise every skill, whenever and however we want, instead of having to "re-roll" as a certain MMORPG requires you to do.

I like the way Jagex takes a more active role in RuneScape community, the membership price is cheap, and Jagex has a zero tolerance for cheating, it makes me feel that any effort I put into the game won't be undermined by bots or other cheaters.

I have played other MMORPGs and I still say that RuneScape is the best.

I really love RuneScape. The first day I tried the game out I got hooked on it I love the simple controls, very easy to use. the graphics are so amazing compared to other mmorpgs. I really love how detailed and massive the stuff in the game is. Over the years i've been playing, I have had tons of adventures and made many friends.

Clans! clans are like one of the best parts of the game. I am in a warring clan and love it! the epic wars with other clans is a really fun experience to have.
Other mini games like Castle Wars and Soul Wars are good mini games.

I LOVE the quests, they always give me something to do and are very chalanging.

The safe game enviorment is nice too. I love how the friends list works too.
This game is like the best game ever, and i have high hopes that it will get evan better in future updates

Why do I like runescape? There are tons of reasons but most stem from the same reason of me being able to choose what I do. Most games are simplistic by nature and are based on combat. On runescape there is nothing that states you MUST use combat. You can choose to just be a skiller or can choose to just be a fighter but they all revolve around you choosing.

Runescape has a ton of quests but not how you think. Runescape quests are not standard "Kill X monsters" nonono they have ever-progressing storylines that intertwine to make huge fun quests. Many times people blow off the quests and find them tiresome and annoying but if you choose to listen to what the NPCs have to say you can get sucked into a great adventure.

Yes runescape may have the trade ristrictions but does that really affect you? They made tons of other ways to interact and are becoming more and more involved with the community. Hell last year you wouldnt see any contests like this around and you couldnt even direct someone to a fansite to get a little bit of help in fear of getting banned. The one thing that you cannot buy runescape has. They have employees that really love what they do. This may not be the best looking or the most successful MMO but they do listen which is something that I cannot say for most games

Runescape is more of a game around a chat than a chat that is built around a game. Many people play just to talk with newfound friends and that is why I still am playing. Chat is something that is often overlooked but not with runescape. Many games are harder to talk on but not runescape with it being a point and click game you can talk while you work. It seems like something small but go and give it a try. Go turn all of your chat settings off and see if it feels the same. I bet it wont and that is what makes runescape great.

I signed up for RuneScape in 2006; when one of my friends came to me and asked me if I played the game called "RuneScape". I stated no, and didn't know anything about the game.

When I signed up to explore this online game, I came across a world I would never believe was true. I remember my first day in RuneScape, when I was in Falador city. I still remember the exact way it looked, back when Jagex had their old graphics.

I've been playing RuneScape for over 4 years now, and I am a well supported community member. I currently run a huge operation in RuneScape, that supports the community in everyway.

I play RuneScape because I love to play the game, and the features Jagex offers us are amazing. The game offers a lot for free players and members, in which I don't know how anyone can miss out.

Mark Gerhard has also improved the game by introducing new ideas, community focused projects, and new gaming updates. Jagex is also on the way to completing MechScape, a future RPG game created by them.

I must say RuneScape is a place I love, and enjoy. I intend to play RuneScape for many years to come, as it's something I love & enjoy.
