What do I love about Runescape? The question should be what dont I love. The world of Runescape is a place where you can be yourself or anyone you want to be. Where people from all over the world can be your friend. A place where theres an adventure around ever corner, there is always some thing to do. And it keeps getting updated to become better.I could go on for days about what I love about this glorious game. But the main reason I love it is because it allows me to have fun with my friends around me.

 

The thing I love the most about RuneScape… is the world itself! The blokes at Jagex Castle have succeeded in creating a world fully independent of our own, but which at the same time contains the things we all yearn for. From the merciless dune seas of the Kharidian Desert to the icy winds of Trollweiss which freeze your body to the bone, challenge is in no short supply. The land is riddled with mystery too, for the most powerful and legendary of artifacts can be found but a stone’s throw away from the most basic of towns, as long as you know where to look… This land and its neighboring dimensions are filled with people in dire need of help, and you, being a helpful adventurer, are only too happy to take on their problems. Entire cultures are waiting for you to discover them, from the long-lost to the laughable, from the mystical to the fantastical. And for the humble man in search of peace of mind, you could be the old but skilled man on the docks, emptying your nets in front of amazed passers-by. You will know the sound of the tree falling, if you’re the one chopping it down. Yours is the choice to save or destroy, work or play, laugh or cry. Together with the friendships you forge nothing can get you down. In your hands lies the fate of this ever-growing, wonder filled world.

The thing I like most about RuneScape is the storylines and lore surrounding them. Learning about things such as vanished gods, ancient demons, and NPCs' favorite foods fascinates me for some reason. I often wish that major quests were released more often.

After that, my second favorite thing is probably fighting exotic monsters with the slayer skill (although getting annhilated by gigantic bosses can be pretty fun too).

I also enjoy doing minigames and raising my skill as high as possible (although I can't train one thing for too long at a time).

These are my favorite things about RuneScape.

 

My favorite party about RuneScape is questing. RuneScape quests are so much different than any other MMORPG, they have deep storyline, and are way much more than "kill monster x, y amount of times and claim your reward". When I was a RuneScape member I was an avid quester, and a proud owner of a Quest Point Cape. The thing that got me hooked to quests was the storyline. The storylines are packet with action, adventure, suspense, twists and turns, and most importantly great characters which you can relate to.

Quests are like a good book you read, and read, and read, but you just can't put the book down because you are enjoying it, and when you finish the last page you go to the bookstore and pick up the sequel and read it for the enjoyment of finding out what happened to your favorite characters. When I am finished with a quest I just want to move right on to the sequel so I can advance with the storyline and see what happened to my favorite NPC's and the situations that they face.

The thing is a few months ago money got a little tight and my parents had me cancel my RuneScape membership. Because I am no longer a member I am no longer able to complete quests and see what happened to the storylines and my favorite NPC's. With this Membership Prize I could continue my questing journey and save the day for countless dwarfs, elves, fairies, and goblins once more.

THE MASSIVE ADVENTURE GAME BY JAGEX


I always concedered RUNESCAPE as the best game ever... .That is not a compliment...it's the reality...and it's so for many reasons...

First of all, the simple control in the game: we just have to use the mouse + the keybord arrows to change camera angle...

Second,the amazing graphic that have been developing...:if you take a quick glimpse at it,you will be attracted right away to the well organized,harmonious picture elements (shadows,trees,buildings,water,animals,caracters,........).the description is ERFECT!!!!...

Third,ther's the minigames such as FIRST OF GUTHIX,CLAN WARS,DUEL ARENA,SOUL WARS, GREAT ORB PROJECT,...and they are very nice games that u can play with your friends or even you can make new frindes all over the word thru theese minigames...and as we all know ther is a variant choice!
And there is also many questes+achivements that we can do as we are playing and RUNESCAPE is always making new ones and we can get many and many reward when compliting them either was member or free to play...

Besides,we have 24 diffrent skills to train...so you cant get bored at all...:ther is combat skills(attack,strenght,defence...),magic,ranged,slayer,runecrafting,hunting... and each skill mastery cape is deffrent of than the other(when you get 99 in a skill):in color,emote...

Ther's also the graphics settings:so player with low machines can play and enjoy their self...And there is P2P players and F2P players:that means pay to play(P2P) ans free to pla(F2P):the deffrence is that P2P players have more
variant choice in the game than those in F2P: more skills to traine,more quest+achivements to solve, minigames to play, new palces in map, new monster to kill, more outfits to wear...)any way the Principle is the same!

I have been playing RUNESCAPE for almost 1 year and I have been enjoyed!

I hope i gave you a good glimpse of RUNESCAPE. And if you re not a RUNSCAPE player : go get you self an acconte and play "you won't regret"!

 

Why Runescape Is A Never Ending Awesome Game!

Runescape is always fun, there is always something to do! Whether it be talking to friends, going to godwars, or skilling away, runescape always has some fun things to offer. With weekly updates and over 100,000+ players on at all times, the game changes everyday. The best thing in my opinion about runescape would have to be the way that Jagex listens to the players about the updates by taking suggestions for updates and fixing the updates if majority of the players find faults in them. I believe that some of the main reasons we all play runescape would have to be, for one, friends and the community, and two, the storylines and quests, all of the quests are creative and always have funny commentary in them. There is not one dull quest in the game! I can't wait for this year's Christmas event, I have no idea what it could be, but i can guarantee one thing for everyone, it's going to be awesome!

 

*WHAT I LIKE ABOUT RUNE-SCAPE* well my first reason why i love RuneScape is because, you put effort in all the skills you work on, like attack..I'm working on attack it takes effort to get 99. PLUS the coins are good idea, and the GREAT EXCHANGE helps a lot if you want to get your skills like craft Herblore and much more to 99, you just need to have cash.Most likely the Npcs have a good ammount of items you could make a load of money, like dragons, if your a member.

plus the graphics on the game is like wowwww, it's so great in many ways. it's better then pretty much any other online MMORPG graphics, and plus Jagex puts a lot of work into RuneScape, so that's why RuneScape has like the best graphics, and i'd say they put a lot of work putting in new mini-games,skills, and much more let's say the Santa hat, if you look at that and what Santa hat shows in movies you would say wow that looks just like that from the movie.

Pus you make tons of friend chat, and good thing there is a report and ignore button, because people could bother you, so you use ignore list, and report, if some one is flooding chat and stuff you could report them aswell ignore goes with the report after, but it's your choice if you want to ignore or not.Well if theres a moderator around it's most likely they would get muted if they flood, but not all the time, moderators are a great help in RuneScape i should say, just depends on there personality. most mods are nice though.

You can make your own houses TOO! the higher construction you got the more items you can add onto your house, But if you don't got much coins, try saving up and then you can make your house look nicer...

There are skill capes aswell. Been around for quite a while.They are pretty cool like you get extra emotes and a nice skillcape for a outfit if you have one for it, most skillcapes are colors of items. Like Strength cape (T) is good for Guthix or Zamorak armor. But if you want a skill cape you got to work hard.

Oh yes. There alot of mini-games. such as Clan-Wars Duel-Arena, FIST OF GUTHIX, Which are for non-members and for members.Most mini-games are for members only.

There are pvp-worlds, Bounty-Hunter-Worlds, which most people call old wildy,pvp-worlds is a great solution of making money,if you kill people, and there are pvp-items like whip, Vesta Long Sword, Statius War Hammer, and much more,

well if you never played runescape, now is your choice it is 24/7 only offline if there is a update, THIS IS WHY I LOVE RUNESCAPE

 

Runescape is a vast MMORPG consisting of millions of players. This makes it easier to find people to do various things with- freedom on Runescape is limited to only following the simple rules. The content between F2P and P2P is just enough to want to make yourself a member, but you don't have to. Runescape is the largest free to play MMO for these very reasons. In my perspective, the content between the two types of accounts is just enough to warrant getting a P2P (member) account, but the game is still enjoyable in both aspects.
Runescape has it's very own style of economy, it has recessions, depressions, inflations and all kinds of economic prospects to it. This is ideal in real world situations where merchers can grow up to be stock traders!
But the freedom isn't limited to trading and killing monsters- you decide your own path. I am personally a monster hunter and player killer, but time to time I enjoy skilling- this is one important aspect of Runescape. Further more, I decide what skills to train- I neglected attack and strength, some players even ignore combat all together!
All in all, Runescape consists of thousands of hours of your gameplay, freedom is at your hand, and the community leaves you hanging and wanting to come back- it's addictive!

What do I like about RuneScape? That's a hard question...
I like everything - a fact that I can play RS from every computer and I don't need to install anything, nice graphics, seasonal events, quests, skills and mimigames. I really like minigames, especially Fist of Guthix.

One of the most important things is that RS isn't violent. I don't like bloody games.

Freedom is also good. If you don't like something, you don't need to do it. You can train just one skill if I want to!

I also like simple controls - I need just mouse and few F-keys to access stuff in combat faster. I don't like games where I need to use QWEASD, arrows and mouse at once.

Skilling is also fun because when you put lots of effort into a skill you'll unlock something new wich will make it even easier. I'm training all free-to-play skills, however some skills are harder than others. It's good because players can decide wich skill they'll train. I'm not very patient, so I prefer easiest skill ever - Firemaking. When I get bored, I start to train another skill so I never get really bored.

Friends are also good reason to play RS. I can race with friends (for example who'll get 100k xp in selected skill faster), it really makes skilling better. Or I can play minigames with them, go together into PvP worlds etc.

I like PvP but I prefer less dangerous things. I lost full rune armour set in PvP World once or twice. I'm not good at PKing

Monster hunting is less dangerous and reward is guaranteed. I sometimes kill Cockroach Soliders just for fun (I'm rich enough)

 

ok, well to name a few things. The main reasons I really like Runescape are simply because of the billions of different hours you can spend doing many different things. You can easily be killing things one hour and then hop to making runes or farming, or fishing or woodchopping in an instant, The skills don't take hours just to set up before you can do them... I also love the player to player interaction that Jagex has included in this game. With certain things like Lootshare and others make it a great time to go Bossing with other players. Even just small things like this are what makes a great game and I think that when Jagex created runescape. They really wanted it to be a game designed for players to have a great time and to not continually do the same thing...over and over and over again... so Thanks!

In my opnion isnt one "best" thing, but all in runescape was very calculed turning it the best game of the world.
the mods one are very trained for judment and support us , and seeing its all players can see that its a important thing.
but, the best thing that i think of runescape is exataly the safe that all players have playing the game, jagex put first the safe and quality and its turn runescape very good, with ur players and foruns and jagex moderators supporting and giving safe for all.
well, its all. safe is my like best in Runescape.

What i like about RS!

Well, i have been playing Runescape since 2004!! Woohoo and i tell you i never, ever get bored of playing it. Runescape rocks. The updates Runescape has are just awesome, makes you want to play more and when RS went to HD it was sweet. I love the new graphics, they are just great.

What i like about runescape is......EVERYTHING! But if i were to pick what i like the most i'd say pking, and monster hunting( includes bosses, slayer monsters).

I just love pking, i've been pking since my account lugz6 was created but had another main before this account but don't use anymore. I've pked in old wildy to the new bounty. I tell you it has changed, it has gotten way better! New weapons, new prayers, new magics, new armours, a lot of new things introduced to this game. My favorite is the Dragon Claws, i love the special. I have laughed and cried of laughter while pking in the old wildy and the new one today(bounty). It is just a great thing to do and one of my favorite things i like about runescape.

Monster Hunting, my second favorite thing. I just love killing stuff, by know you should notice. I remember when Kalphite queen and KBD(King Black Dragon) were the strongest bosses, and i killed them until they introduce Godwars..btw got a few dragon chains, but visage wasn't yet around when i killed KBD. GWS came out and wow i just pretty much stayed there all day, i just loved it, great update btw Jagex, then way later Corporeal Beast and Tormented Demons got released and my favorite weapon (Dragon Claws were dropped by the Tormented Demons. Hehe killed around 10,000 tormented demons so far. Corporeal Beast was just a beastly update haha..you had to complete a quest then you can kill this beast with 2000hp , the strongest npc in the game, and the sigils it drops just makes it even funner to go to.

Well those are some of my reasons(my favorite) of what i like about Runescape and i can't wait for the next boss to come out... i heard something like GWS. Thank You ALL and Jagex for these awesome updates.

 

Why i love runescape

hmm what do i like about runescape? I usualy spend most of my free time playing runescape and so does my best friend and thats how we connect most of the time.what i mlike about runescape is that it is a safe game that alows people to connect and make friends around the world no matter what age or what nationality. Ive made manny friends on runescape that ar now good friends in life. What i also like about runescape is that it gives freedom and joy to the users and allows the users to set goals and challenges for themselves. The thing i like about best about runescape is the diversity in choice that players have which lets users build their account based on their prefrences.

Runescape

Runescape is a great game in my opinion, you can chill out and have fun, pking is my best thing i enjoy on runescape, its the feeling and fun you get whilst pking with new people and your friends. There is much to do, and killing monsters is definately great, hoping you will receive a good drop. I like runescape for all of the above, and the kindness of all moderators, admins and the general feeling of the game. I think its one of the best MMORG(not sure if thats it ) out there. I've been playing for 2 years after loosing stuff time and time again , but the qualities of runescape is what makes me to play it more and more. I'd like to thank JAGEX for developing this game - with constant updates making runescape better for its 100,000+ Players (i see average each day)

Runescape: good times

I started playing Runescape about 4 years ago, and loved it ever since. I only really played RS2, and my love for it has never been stronger. When i play, i just get this feeling that there's always new possibilities. Since there's always new things being uncovered in RS, it never gets old, and the best part is, you can't win the game, it just keeps getting better. I love how there are always new places to explore, and even if you've been there before, it's always a pleasure to visit it again and see the great scenery. I guess I'm just trying to say that when i play Runescape, it just makes me feel good, and i have fun playing.

 

What I like about RuneScape is that it is an open ended MMO with the only limits being what you can come up with. There's something for everyone in RuneScape, for me it's the rich, detailed game world that makes itself known through quests and other stories released on the site. I love reading all of the books in game, Barrows, Elves, Vampyres, all of the different sub stories and races and all of their histories. While Guthix Sleeps is an amazing quest and storyline, I almost thought about making another member just so I could do it again...

Geilinor is a fully fleshed out world in the developers' eyes. Complete with different races, languages (Tzhaar for example), cultures, major cities and histories for all of it. RuneScape reveals more and more of all of the story of Geilinor, and that story is what I think I like RuneScape best for.

It's also about being able to do things with your friends, meeting new people and achieving something together .

I also really like the emergent gameplay (creative gameplay) possibilities in the game, and how the developers not only allow it but encourage it (Cryptic clue fest / Faruq's Tools for Games anyone?) As well as helping us translate the Tzhaar language .

I thought I'd add this even though I'm not sure who else likes it but... I like looking at RuneScape from the coding perspective since one of the things I'm looking at in college is the Gaming Industry. I like reading the developer diaries, and JMod comments about the code and mechanics of the game. Helps me get a perspective.

Hopefully Jagex will keep up with revealing more of the rich gameworld to us in the future, and encouraging all of the player activities that help make RuneScape have something for everyone. And showing me what code/mechanics lie behind this complex game? :grin:

I've been playing Runescape for about 3 years now.

And I've enjoyed every second of it, Even though Runescape had some pretty bad Updates (No Offence!) It was still The best game to play. It was fun playing Runescape and I'll probably play Runescape Until the day comes, but until then I will be playing. Runescape is a good game to play they have Many Attractions such as God wars Dungeon (GWDS), Boss hunting, MiniGames, And tons of skills to achieve. I recommend playing this game for a fun experienced entertainment .

Personally I've enjoed killing monsters, Doing Quests, and Raising all my skills which is Basically What you do in Runescape. =D, Member is fun Since you get many new items Such as Dragon Armour, New weapons (Dragon scimitar, Abbysal Whip) and More skills! (Farming, Summoning, Construction, and Much more! This is probably what Runescape is about and it's Really Cool. Everything in Runescape is fun Especially PVP. You could Also Trade other Characters! so you could sell/buy rare items such as a Santa Hat, Party Hats, OR Halloween Masks, you could buy and sell Armour and much more!

Also one of my Personal Favorites are the Holiday Events! Usually Every Holiday they have is an Event Such as Christmas, Halloween, Easter, Thanksgiving, And more! They have these Events that are like Mini-Quests which sometimes are hard but usually have Fantastic Rewards at the End!

Mini-Games are Of Course Games that you can battle other players such as Fist of Guthix, Clan wars, Circus, And About 20 more Games! They are fun cause you can challenge people and play games with them, You can Earn Rewards such as Money, Runes, Armour, and some Special stuff!

Why do I keep Playing Runescape?

Well Runescape is a Multi-Player Game, so you can Talk to other Avatars/People, You can add them on Your Friends List and talk to them later and well you could Hang out and just Chill or go Kill some Boss Monsters, OF course this makes Runescape A more Unique and Entertaining Game then any other game! Runescape also has a Population of over 1,000,000 Accounts! and Usually There is over 100,000 Accounts Online a Day, Which is A lot! You'll never get lonely!

This is like the best Game Ever (in my Opinion) And everyone should play this game! Jagex Should never Stop Offering Runescape EVER!

Runescape. Where to began? I first made my main in January of 07. He was ok, got 'failed' with defense. I became member on him for about 5 or so months. After member ship ran out, i made a pure. And here I am =]. So in RuneScape there is PKing. While PKing you have to options, BH or PVP Worlds. I perfer BH because of the level closness and it has the look and feel (kind of) of old wilderness. Ahh how I wish I played in those days. In runescape I am a member of a clan. Co-Owner in Fact! Clans have been a great addition to Runescape that has made my life easier while playinh . Also although recently Pures have been not receiving many PVP updates (that we enjoy. we actually lost alot of loot due to 76k update, no rematches lol) well back to the point of why i LIKE runescape. I give you a almost real life, yet fictional account on Mediaeval times. This along with free chat, free trade (In side of trade limit of course) and my favorate, PKing is why I play and enjoy RuneScape.

Hello, I am here to apply for the free membership that Jagex is offering, and I am pleased to tell you what I like about runescape.

Well i've been playing runescape for some years now and i like to say that runescape is the best mmo rpg i've ever played (my personal opinion). But what i like most about it is its graphics and great story line for quests. I mean i just love the 3D graphics. There amazing like the water. I have never seen anything like that in a game, Its just so amazing! I love how it's transparent! Also I love the graphics on the houses. I play on standard detail, and i think its AMAZING! I wonder how much better it looks and high detail, And I love kinda the recent update the bridge updates. The new look for the bridges and the roofs and top of them looks nice.

Another thing I love about Runescape is the quest's. They Are so fun and challenging, And i love the story line that goes between them. Like the fremennik quest. After you finish one there is another fun one right after it.

Thats why I love Runescape.I put alot of time into this short story. Hope you enjoyed.
