    The revenge rule was disabled after 4 powerful players ran afoul of it.

    It isn't explained in the guide.

    Usually, a defender has to have at least 75% of the attacker's troop strength.

    When the revenge rule was operational, there was an exception. If the defender had attacked the attacker in the last 48 hours, the attacker could attack the defender regardless of relative strength.

    You could say the revenge rule allows huge swings in the game. With the revenge rule in effect, an attacker could lose everything after a series of counterattacks.

    The revenge rule was horrible, it doesn't matter what happens without it, I'd much rather there wasn't one.

    I had it applied to me.

    It made me a lot more cautious about attacking villages, especially those above me.

    Yes I think that there should be. Lately I was attacked by I wasnt able to revenge that becouse player was weaker then me :(
