    Found this through Steam and it appears to be something of a gem. Come to find out it won PC Gamer's Game of the Year award for 2013 and the older version in 2009 is free:). May end up just getting the more recent version for me if nobody else wants it.

    Spelunky is an awesome game that never got quite the recognition it deserved. Excellent title and a good developer to support.

    This game is actually very simple but hard and fun to play. I mean, it is kinda old (especially the version I'm playing), but still so good.

    It's one of the things that made it a success. Simple but complex. The paid version built on that adding more gameplay depth. :)

    $14.99. Steam sale may be coming soon (almost guaranteed to be under 2 months now)... either later this month or sometime next. Very likely it was go on sale then so keep that in mind.
