    Introduction

    So you decided to play talisman, and no matter how much people tell you: DONT PLAY ASSASSIN, THEY ARE EXPENSIVE AND HARD TO PLAY, HARD TO FIND TEAMS and all, you STILL wanna play it? Ok then imma help you pull the maximum out of your sin.


    First of all, what is assassin in Talisman Online?

    This is assassin. As we all know, this is the reason you chose one! It looks great, and just the thought of "OMG IMMA BE AN ASSASSIN" made you press the CREATE button after you select him as your class! Well damage is done, so lets make you little better in the class play!

    What are good and bad sides of assassin? What is the role of the assassin? Imma try to sum it up.

    Good Sides:

    Well assassins are usualy squishy! YOU ARE NOT! Cos sins have second highest deffense (after monk in this game)
    As expected, you have the HIGHEST dodge rate in the game! Can get over 50% dodge by default!
    You have highest SINGLE hit damage in the game and highest CS damage in the game! (wohoo way to go sins)
    Has stamina, not mana, so you dont have to worry to have high Intelligence as caster classes, just to boost the mana! Spam the skills guys!
    Its the best PvPer before you get in MDV.
    Its the best Tanker before you get in MDV (yea when all have +6 gears, sins with their high CS keep agro quite well)
    With array flag they have biggest elemental resistance of all classes
    Stamina + Chain Simitar = Endless aoe! **** the Fire Burst wizards have, 10 shots and no mana, spam the sweep! :p
    If you kill mobs 1 by 1, you will never run out of HP if you have level 20 pet.

    Bad Sides

    No DoT skills! Only class without one.
    After level 61, monk is the only tanker some of the players would take in caves.
    After level 61, people use gem inlay, thats where you become weaker, and you need skill and gear if you wanna do something.
    We have most expensive equipment. Cos we are half of the population on the servers....
    DoT eat us alive unless we have 20k+ HP
    We need 20% CS as MINIMUM , to be any good in PvP



    So what is our role? Before 61 we are gods. Best tankers, best pvpers, best grinders, best everything! After 61, well here it goes..

    WCB killer! Yea we kill WCB cos we do more overal damage than even MONK and in the end we get the drop! (hope this will be fixed and we will be able to RAID a boss and all get drops.)
    Mass PVP - If assassin is healed he can take on 5 players at same time! We are good tanks in MASSIVE pvp not in 1 vs 1.
    Secondary Tanker - Cos of lack of monks, we gotta take over this role too!

    I think thats all we can do after we get in MDV. Thats all i do, at least... Be tanker when monk is not around, go in massive PvP, kill WCB or Duel. Well Duels and PvP are VERY difficult for sin, so i will make whole other guide for that, with tips how to use your class the best possible in massive and 1 on 1 pvps.

    Weapons, Weapon Skills and Weapon Inherence Points


    As you probably know, all classes have 2 weapons of choice. For assassins thats the Dagger, and the Chain Simitar. You probably wonder - WHATS BETTER? There is no better, for assassin that is. For example, wizard can play from lvl 1 to lvl 75 with sword and have no problems, tamer with bow, monk with staff, fairy with ANY weapon. Well guess what..FOR SIN THATS IMPOSSIBLE!
    Why? Well you go in cave to tank - they ask you : Do you have simi? You answer: No. Congratulations, you just earned your KICK from the team. You have simi and go in cave and then boss come, you start with simi, they either kick you, or you lose agro and kill team and they kick you again!

    So assassins, BOTH WEAPONS ARE MUST! Personally i have +10 dagger and +8 simi, and it works GOOD. Not awesome but good! I would like to make my simitar +10 cos its quite helpfull. Anyway lets look little deeper in to the weapons and their skills.

    NOTE! WHERE I MENTION DAMAGE WITH NUMBERS, THATS MY OWN DAMAGE FOR +10 SOUL INFUSED DAGGER LVL 75 AND +8 SOUL INFUSED SIMITAR LVL 75! YOU CAN CALCULATE YOUR EASILY! IF SKILL SAY 100% , ITS SAME DAMAGE THE WEAPON HAS, 150% IS Damage + 1/2Damage, AND 200% IS 2xDamage!
    Dagger

    Your main PvP weapon, and main weapon at all. Very few sins use simi for PvP weapons, and very few sins have the gear and the nerves to grind for no drops with aoe and heal all the time. You dont need dagger before level 50-60. Up untill that level you are fine with only simitar. The daggers have more Critical rate and high Damage Output skills. That is helpfull in boss tanking and PvP mostly. So what are the dagger skills?

    Poison Sting

    Stamina - 25
    Instant Release
    Distance - 40
    Basic Damage x 100%, attack target, cause 1156-1277 points damage
    Element - Poison

    Adding Iherence Points to this skill add % of DMG it adds on the skill, at level 1 beeing 6%, at level 5 beeing 30%.

    Rush Faint

    Stamina - 50
    Instant Release
    Distance - 200
    Basic Damage x100%, rush and attack, cause target faint for 2 seconds.
    Cooling time - 20 seconds
    Element - Poison

    Adding Inherence Points to this skill reduce the cooling time for 1 second at level 1, and 5 seconds at level 5.

    Poison Bash

    Stamina - 45
    Instant Release
    Distance - 40
    Basic Damage x 200%, heavily attack, cause target 2312-2554 points damage
    Element - Poison

    Adding Inherence Points to this skill improve the CS damage of this skill by 10% at level 1 and 50% at level 5.

    Poison Thorn

    Stamina - 30
    Instant Release
    Distance - 40
    Basic Damage x 100%, target poisoned, speed slow down 50 in 5 seconds
    Element - Poison

    Adding Inherence Points to this skill extend the time for 1 second at level 1 and 5 seconds at level 5.

    Soul Lost

    Stamina - 35
    Instant Release
    Distance - 40
    Basic Damage x 100%, knock on weapon to make noise, cause target to faint for 3 seconds. Target Wakes up after beeing attacked.
    Cooling time - 15 seconds

    Adding Inherence Points to this skill extend the time of the faint for 0.5 seconds at level 1 and 2.5 seconds at lvl 5.

    (NOTE ABOUT SOUL LOST: Even tho you cant read nowhere in skills info, this skill can STOP AOE! If you use it when Ice Banshee or Fire Boar use aoe, their aoe will STOP. Its only aoe stopping skill in the game! It DOESNT work on Instant AoEs.)

    NOTE: Passive Skills just add their effects to your skills DIRECTLY! Passive skills APPLY TO ALL skills. It Doesnt Mean that if POISON DAMAGE INCREASE is under the Poison Sting, it adds only to the poison sting. THAT IS NOT CORRECT! The Passive skill add to ALL the skills. Its IMPORTANT to have the passive skills MAXED OUT! Also, keep in mind that you DONT see their increase as a stat. Example: The 5 Points from Improve Poison CS Rate are NOT shown in your CS% (when you point your mouse) but they ARE applied!

    Increase Poison Related Damage

    Adding Inherence Points in this skill will add 2% at level 1 and 10% at level 5 to your damage when you use POISON skills! All Skills that Dagger have are poison skills.

    Increase Poison Related CS Damage

    Adding Inherence Points in this skill will add 10% at level 1 and 50% at level 5 to your CS damage when you use POISON skills! All Skills that Dagger have are poison skills.

    Increase Poison Related CS Rate

    Adding Inherence Points in this skill will add 1% at level 1 and 5% at level 5 to your CS Rate when you use POISON skills! All Skills that dagger have are poison skills. The CS rate from this skill is NOT counted in the % when you point your mouse over the CS stat.


    Chain Simitar

    Your main PVE weapon, and main weapon to level up till 61! You can use this weapon for PvP also, but people preffer daggers. It have more damage than dagger, but less CS rate and less CS damage. It has 2 aoes and its quite helpfull in leveling up with those aoes. Its also better at lower levels because your CS rate is anyway LOW (or you suffer death cos if you use CS gear you have 1000-2000HP only so you die easy) so better use simitar till you get 50 or 60, because you will do more damage with normal hits.


    Lightning Lash

    Stamina - 25
    Instant Release
    Distance - 80
    Basic Damage x 100%, cause target 999-1104 poins damage
    Element - Lightning

    Adding Inherence Points to this skill will improve the damage for 5% at level 1 and 25% at level 5.

    Lash Faint

    Stamina - 35
    Instant Release
    Distance - 80
    Basic Damage x100% shock faint the target for 2 seconds
    Cooling time - 20 seconds
    Element - Lightning

    Adding Inherence Points to this skill extend the stun for 0.5 seconds at level 1 to 2.5 seconds at level 5.

    Double Lash

    Stamina - 45
    Instant Release
    Distance - 80
    Basic Damage x 200%, attack target, cause 1998-2208
    Element - Lightning

    Adding Inherence Points to this skill increase the CS damage for 10% at level 1 and 50% at level 5.

    Thunder Slow

    Stamina - 30
    Instant Release
    Distance - 80
    Basic Damage x100%, group attack skill, all enemies around speed slow down 80, maximum of 5 enemies
    Cooling Time - 5 seconds
    Element - Lightning

    Adding Inherence Points to this skill reduce the cooling time for 1 sec at level 1 and 5 sec at level 5, making it possible to cast it without cooling time.

    Lightning Sweeping

    Stamina - 40
    Instant Release
    Distance - 80
    Basic Damage x100%, group attack skill cause 902-997 points damage, maximum attack 5 enemies
    Element - Lightning

    Adding Inherence Points to this skill increase the CS possibility OF THIS SKILL for 4% at level 1 and 20% at level 5.

    Improve Lightning Damage (Passive)

    Adding Inherence Points to this skill will add 2% at level 1 and 10% at level 5 to your damage when you use LIGHTNING skills! All skills that Simitar have are lightning skills.

    Improve Lightning CS Rate (Passive)

    Adding Inherence Points to this skill will add 1% at level 1 and 5% at level 5 to your CS rate when you use LIGHTNING skills. All skills that Simitar have are lightning skills.

    Improve Dodge Rate (Passive) (ONLY PASSIVE SKILL WITH EFFECT ADDING THE ACTUAL % IN THE CHARACTER INFO)

    Adding Inherence Points to this skill will increase dodge rate for 1% at level 1 and 5% at level 5! Only avaliable WHILE THE SIMITAR is equiped.

    Now imma talk little for the skills. I Will Start with the Dagger skills. Just a note here about skills (all classes can read this), THERE IS NO USELESS SKILL! ALL SKILLS HAVE THEIR RIGHT TIME TO USE! YOU CAN NOT BE GOOD IN ANY CLASS IF YOU DONT USE THE SKILLS IN YOUR ARSENAL! ALL OF THEM!~


    Poison Sting is skill that dont really do much damage, but it serves for ONE SINGLE PURPOSE! BUILD UP YOUR COMBO! Dont forget that your 3rd, 6th and 9th hit as assassin are the DEADLY ones!

    Rush Faint, our only ranged skill. Using this on MOBS is waste of stamina. Personaly i find it nice for tanking caves tho. With this skill you just get straight to the boss, without annoying walking and "dancing with the boss". Its also good to chase some runner in PvP. Thats all! Dont use it for nothing else.

    Poison Bash is your main skill. Make 100% SURE that at 3rd, 6th and 9th hit you HIT with this skill! While tanking you can of course just HOLD on this skill and let it do your job. Some bosses require soul lost, but not at higher levels, so you can rest. In PvP make sure you build up enough points with Poison Sting before you use this skill.

    Poison Thorn - One of my favorite skills! Why? Cos it saves my ass, thats why! How? In PvP you prevent people to run away from you, OR you use thorn and YOU run away from them. This way you can be FASTER than them and still have your array flag equipped. In PVE its helpfull too! Lets say you tank boss, and someone take agro, you can just THORN the boss and he wont reach in time to kill your team, the team stop hit, you take your agro back! Use it wisely!

    Soul Lost - Only skill in game that can stop aoe. In BPW you can use it on wizard with Blades, in caves you can use it in SSS (Golden Star Tao Guo (NOT RECOMENDED YOU WILL GET POISONED)), Ice Banshee (To save noobs who still dont know that they should keep away :p) or in Fire Boar after he use his annoying aoe. In PVP, its just a SLEEP skill. You use it to gather back some stamina and possibly reset the guy (if he is sin too, his combo is resettable).
    Few Inherence Setups I find nice for Daggers

    5 - Poison Sting
    0 - Rush Faint
    5 - Poison Bash
    0 - Poison Thorn
    0 - Soul Lost

    5 - Improve Poison Damage
    5 - Improve Poison CS Damage
    5 - Improve Poison CS Rate

    Poison Sting and Poison Bash inherenced, and all passive skills. Nice for PVE, nice for PVP. Soul lost enough to gain some stamina or stop aoe and thats it. Thorn 5 seconds (default) and rush faint is not needed more than default anyway.


    0 - Poison Sting
    0 - Rush Faint
    5 - Poison Bash
    0 - Poison Thorn
    5 - Soul Lost

    5 - Improve Poison Damage
    5 - Improve Poison CS Damage
    5 - Improve Poison CS Rate

    This is, if I can say more defensive setup. You use the rush faint -soul lost, soul lost-dragon roc, and ALL stun setups, to RESET the combo of the other assassin, or to keep the player more in stun, and to deal deadly blows with your bash!


    3 - Poison Sting
    0 - Rush Faint
    5 - Poison Bash
    0 - Poison Thorn
    2 - Soul Lost

    5 - Improve Poison Damage
    5 - Improve Poison CS Damage
    5 - Improve Poison CS Rate

    Friend told me about this one, and Im using it now! It adds enough damage on the sting, AND keep soul lost high enough to reset. Its good setup and personaly its maybe best.

    0 - Poison Sting
    0 - Rush Faint
    5 - Poison Bash
    5 - Poison Thorn
    0 - Soul Lost

    5 - Improve Poison Damage
    5 - Improve Poison CS Damage
    5 - Improve Poison CS Rate

    I think this is nice, but I wanna test it. Thorn can help a lot vs caster classes.



    Now the Chain Simitar skills

    Lightning Lash - I guess you can tell that this is the combo move in the simitar. Its not as good as poison sting in PvE, but do the same job that the Sting do in PvP. Still, not many sins use Simitar in PvP.

    Lash Faint - Most important skill in PvP. Again in PvE is rarely usable, since you will use the AoE attacks if you do PvE, not kill 1 by 1 or bosses.

    Double Lash - This is awesome in both, PvP and PvE! It can hit 1 or 2 hits, and its CS damage is huge. It’s normal damage is much greater than dagger skills. I love this skill. Its just high damage skill tho. Nothing special if we want side effects. Anyway since sometimes you are FORCED to go in PvP with simitar (you grind and someone try to PK you), this skill will tell him: BACK OFF!

    Thunder Slow - If Poison Thorn saves your life on daggers, you can tell that for Thunder Slow on simitar. Also in PvP it has another purpose: Kiting! Kiting its not recomended vs. Casters. (Kiting is hit and run tactics used in MMORPGs) In PvE when you are tanker also. You can Thunder Slow the mobs before the wiz/tamer take agro, then after effect is done, just dragon roc-stun them!

    Lightning Sweeping - You will love this aoe (if you have the gear to handle the hits). Even more if you have full SSC gear! Thats all i can say! Basically its just damage aoe, and a good one, since you are stamina character.


    Now some builds for simitar:


    Basic FULL PVE AoE build

    0 - Lightning Lash
    0 - Lash Faint
    0 - Double Lash
    5 - Thunder Slow
    5 - Lightning Sweeping

    5 - Improve Lightning Damage
    5 - Improve Lightning CS Rate
    5 - Improve Dodge Rate

    Use this build ONLY if you plan to use simtiar 100% for AOE. For grind or mobs in caves. NOTHING ELSE! Bad for PvP , Bad for 1 by 1 mobs. Only to hit more mobs in same time!


    Balanced PvE/PvP build #1

    5 - Lightning Lash
    0 - Lash Faint
    5 - Double Lash
    0 - Thunder Slow
    5 - Lightning Sweeping

    5 -Improve Lightning Damage
    5 - Improve Lightning CS Rate
    0 - Improve Dodge Rate

    This Build is good if you wanna have PvP simitar, that will work on 1 vs 1 mobs and players, but still wanna be able to do some AoE in caves to help clean mobs faster, or even grind with it. Nice Balance.


    Balanced PvP/PvE build #2

    0 - Lightning Lash
    0 - Lash Faint
    5 - Double Lash
    0 - Thunder Slow
    5 - Lightning Sweeping

    5 - Improve Lightning Damage
    5 - Improve Lightning CS Rate
    5 - Improve Dodge Rate

    Same like the one before this, just this remove the Lightning Lash points and add points in dodge. Do this if you need little more dodge. If you dont need more dodge, go with the build above.


    100% PvP simitar

    5 - Lightning Lash
    5 - Lash Faint
    5 - Double Lash
    0 - Thunder Slow
    0 - Lightning Sweeping

    5 - Improve Lightning Damage
    5 - Improve Lightning CS Rate
    0 - Improve Dodge Rate


    This build is if you want to use simitar for PVP or 1 by 1 mobs killing ONLY! It will not do ANY good with its aoe, but it can keep nice stun and do nice damage on your enemies in PvP.
